We are back with another vlog here in Guangzhou China! This vlog takes us into the festivities of Chinese new year as we explore the Beijing road area of Guangzhou for Chinese New Year Eve!
We start this vlog by buying some Chinese new year souvenirs and getting some local snacks and drinks before exploring the markets of Beijing Road. They had flower and food markets. We continue to explore the road and get some unique milk tea before ending this video end. We found out that the New Year Eve wasn't as big as the New year day so stay tuned for our New Year Day vlog next!

This is exactly how I felt when I saw cops in China. Half-expecting the police to go totalitarian on me for taking photos but in reality, they are far more chilled than the cops in US. :D
The truth is, the law enforcement in China has really delivered in the recent years and have basically turned it from a Wild West 2 decades ago to a safe and prosperous place. The Chinese love the cops because they know if they don't do anything wrong then they have nothing to fear. Once I saw a kid offering his drink to a Police Droid on a hot day. We all chuckled.
The policeman in tourist spot usually acts as information person. I would say that their main job is probably providing directions to tourists.
They act as a human fence in public holidays too.😊

1. not everyone in Canton speak cantonese, such as Waitress at the first restaurant. there are so many kind of language in China.
2. In China, this year is not dragon year but loong year, dragon is the west lizard with wings, sort of lowest level animal, but loong is so different.
3. In China, the highest compliment to a dessert is that it's not too sweet.
Spot on #2 and #3 but for #1, those do not speak Cantonese in Guangzhou are outsiders or migrant workers. It should be Guangzhou not Canton, Canton was a silly name by the British when they semi-colonized Guangzhou.
Cantonese is actually not a kind of language. Its a dialect of Chinese.
