Do suggest tighter tolerances specially with a battery go's along way of quality design but was able to fix it with some electrical tape, unless it's for thermal expansion.
All the test should have continuous shot to prove the test worked.
Can you NOT see the damage on the bezel? On the body? It's pretty obvious.

Did the side buttons still work after running them over? Because at 6:07 it looks like you pressed the button, but I heard no click.
The output led wasnt as visible, probably due to the scratches from the pavement but it did still change outputs with the button!
