  • Welcome to my review of the timeless BMW R1100GS, a 26-year-old adventure bike that's still going strong! In this video, I share my journey from riding sport bikes and Harleys to discovering the joys of off-roading with the GS. I delve into why I chose this bike, its impressively workable features like the 80hp boxer engine, and how it handles both on and off-road. I'll take you through my experiences riding through European mountain passes and tackling the Trans Euro Trails. Learn about the bike's strengths, such as its comfort on long journeys and its ability to handle rugged terrain, as well as some minor issues like braking and shifting that come with its age. Don't miss out on this comprehensive review that highlights why the BMW R1100GS is still a top choice for adventure seekers. Subscribe to follow my upcoming off-road and on-road adventures!

Great to see you are having fun with it! Got a 97' last year and already put it through the tet in croatia, hungary and poland. Great gravel machine but really struggled with deeper sand in poland.
After my recent trip I will be downgrading to a lighter bike for solo travel though, got into some situations where the gs was just too heavy to get out alone.

How was the TET Croatia? And what bike will you get after?

I feel you man! Got my 1994 R11000 GS at the end of last year. Started with motorcycling after a almost 20 year break from it. I love everything about the GS, also that is has some "charakter" - especially while shifting. :D
The GS (and other adventure bikes) is all about freedom.
Go where you want to go and dont know where the road ends!
    Greetings
    Tafka

      I hope i wrote everything correctly 😂
