Hey man great visuals and everything but it's just an action sequence that is reversed, I was looking for a solid story with that action. I appreciate the efforts you put in this, real great work just needed a better plot. Just my opinion, good luck.man.
One of the things that made Tenet stand out, was having at least one character going forward in time while everything around them was going backwards. Or the opposite, with one person or element going backwards in the normal timeline. This is a solid little film you’ve got there, but for the most part, it’s a reversed action sequence with some great stunt work by your performers.
Christopher Nolan will literally think Tom is a complete idiot if he ever sees this. He’ll be saddened that people thought Tenet was just reversed footage.

Yeah exactly, the choreography was cool but would have preferred to see an actual story being integrated with inversion - the awe of tenet isn’t just reversing the scene just to be in reverse, it serves as a purpose. It doesn’t feel like much creativity was put into this.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I was expecting something more when you brought up TENET. This is just a film you shot and then reversed. Tenet had people literally saying lines in reverse, choreographed fights which they had to learn forwards and backwards, and other action that was happening as forward and reverse interacted with one another. Noble effort getting everyone together, but it’s not Tenet.

I see so many comments saying that this is not that good or just a simple action scene which has been reversed. I think you guys should appreciate this film a little more. Hey guys Nolan spent years writing Tenet script and the shoot lasted months. The movie inspired Tom Jauncey to make a reversed action scene, but you can't write a script like Tenet's just by a snap of fingers ! The "tenet" reference is justified by the estethic of this short film, the soldiers equipement and the soundtrack taken from Tenet. So yeah it's not a story as elaborated as Tenet, far from it, but it's obvious that it wasn't the goal. Let's just enjoy this nice, well-made reversed action scene, without taking offense for it not being a whole blockbuster ;)
Cool video and all, the stunt team did a really good job and the camerawork is satisfactory as well, but that’s about it. CHRIS!!! TOM!!! you guys killed this!! so happy its finally here!! loved seeing the idea come to fruition for the short time I was there!
This is nothing compared to Tenet, they literally just filmed a fight scene and then reversed it. I much rather would have seen the non-reversed footage than seeing this disgrace. It's a decent effort with the cinematography and fight choreography, just not with the story or whole idea of this film.
Incredible production here for a small channel, you’re gonna blow up soon. I hope to do something on this level in the future.
not even close tenet.. you dont get it at all... what a waste...

The movie would be awesome if it wasn’t just reversed footage

@@IanPAitken at least he did something. He made it and put it out there start to end. That's a lot more than a lot of people do. If it makes you feel better to crap on him, that's on you.
@@OmarCordy Yeah, it's just that I'm a young lad and I absolutely loved Tenet, but for this to be related to Tenet at all is a huge disappointment. I could have done a way better job with the resources he had.
Metal Gear Solid PS1
It's a good effort. I think the title of this video should say "Tenet-inspired film" or "Tenet-like film", so people would understand that this video is not exactly like Tenet since it's just an action film in reverse.
On another note, I can see a Tenet sequel / prequel (depending how you look at it) to have similar aesthetics like this video.
