It sounded much better from the seventh row absolutely fantastic and to be hit by that warm smile at the end was the ultimate sensation. This was 2019 .March 27 2021 Amira will be seventeen. What topped that was to witness Amira opening two playgrounds for the children in two schools.
I envy you. She puts us in tears watching on video, to just imagine her live. I have bought the DVDs from these shows 2016-2019. They put one heck of a show
I always found Edelweiss to be a sad song. It's at a moment when they will be leaving their homeland and not knowing if they will ever be able to come home again. Hope and sadness all at the same time, always been my favorite song from this musical.

She has performed from an early age with many adult professionals and ALWAY has held her own on stage. In my opinion her best performances, along with some you have already reacted to are: 'Barcelona' (the cellphone concert version where she goes up an octave on the last note); 'Amazing Grace' (with bagpipes); 'Gabriella's Song' (in Swedish); Andre Reiu's concert at 10 yrs old with a 15,000 audience where she has people in tears and she gets a standing ovation. And all three of her songs when she won Hollands Got Talent when she was 9. In her first blind audition where she sings 'O Mio Babbino Caro', you will see the only time she ever appeared nervous or apprehensive and maybe a little scared onstage, when she was waiting for the music to start. In her early singing years, at times she appeared to go into performance mode (sometimes with her eyes closed) when singing, and when it was over, she popped back into smiling, waving, child mode. She is an amazing talent, especially considering she was self taught from RUclips, and didn't have any professional help until after she won HGT'13.

Tomorrow will start on the Dutch television the search for Maria. That will be to find a musical singer for the leading roll in the production of the sound of music. This format they did this with success in the past with the leading roll for Evita, Marry Poppins and more. The quality was always very high, so I expect a lot about this show again.
Her voice was changing at this time (yes girls voices change during puberty just like guys, just not as drastic)....she was fabulous...I think she was 14 or 15 at this time.

Thanks guys for reacting to our beautiful & magnificent Soprano Amira. I think I’ve run out of superlatives. She is 15 in this performance & hasn’t she matured into the most beautiful young lady . It’s obvious that her vocal coach has her firmly on the right track, as her diction is second to done & her powerful voice just keeps getting better and better. Clarification. She has already dumped the amateur level South Africa school teacher she had on this tune. Probably she didn't listen to her advice and did it her own way. Now she's back to the previous teacher she had in Holland, but now through internet lessons.

I recently discovered a new version of one of my favorite Nightwish songs, I Want My Tears Back. Not a professional or highly produced video, shot from a single camera, but shows Floor dancing all over the stage, and dancing with the crowd who are all bouncing up and down!
