Thank you for this video! I’m starting my degree in January, and all these videos I’ve found on RUclips about IR are so unhelpful, they bring my hopes down. But this video was so optimistic! I really enjoyed knowing about the increase rate of salary in the next decade!
Adriana, thank you for taking the time to comment. I am glad you find the videos helpful and will start college full of hope and optimism for your education. This is exactly how it should be.
@@okekalemosesopeyemi-nr1re hey! Already finished my first year of college and all I can say is there’s so many things you can do with your degree! There’s really a lot of opportunities out there
What the difference between a foreign correspondent and a journalist working abroad? Also what is the difference between a Foreign service official and foreign area specialist?
Hi Jessica, I am happy to review each of these job titles with you. Please email me for a consultation. We can look at each job description and discuss what might be a fit for you.
Hi Jessica, I work as a Journalist so would like to help here - a Foreign Correspondent/Reporter has a specialism that focuses on global news & more than often requires the individual to work in the field/on the ground in the nations that they’re reporting on. A Journalist is a broad term that even a Foreign Correspondent/Reporter can also use. The newsroom’s a big place, it doesn’t seem it but it is, so Journalist as a term, helps (often) for a seamless understanding. A Journalist encompasses the role of a Producer, Editor, Researcher, Fixer et al. I hope this response answers or helps you x

Hi Samare thanks for watching. Not every non-profilt requires travel. Some organizations operate at the grassroots level. They may even be 9-5 jobs. You might be thinking about entities like the World Bank that has international opportunities?
