This is why I enjoy watching Brayden's content. He's not a Disney simp. When Disney disappoints he says so. He loves Disney but doesn't excuse their poor decisions. Keep up the great work!
I 100% agree. It had to stop following some of the more popular Disney shills that are unable to be objective when it comes too the bad decisions Disney often makes
Brayden, I drove Monorails for several years back in the mid-Eighties. I realize that so much of the actual autonomy of driving the trains has changed since I piloted one, but the progress made since even a few years ago is pretty astounding. The corresponding train color LED’s are the smartest thing they’ve ever done to assist Monorail Pilots driving at night and assist Monorail Operations visually identify where each train is at any given point on the beam. Plus, it just looks very cool! From a safety standpoint, they should’ve done this a long time ago... Great video. Thanks for the continuing Epcot construction updates.
Beacons of Magic > Harmonious Also, didn’t Disney say Harmonious was gonna be their biggest fireworks show ever? Didn’t seem like it unless I missed something.
I wasn’t excited about this show at all and figured it wasn’t going to be that great. Wish Disney would listen to there customers more on. Spaceship earth looks gorgeous!! Im so excited to see that.
Spot on analysis of Harmonious. What a snooze. I didn't like any of the music or IP shown. Big mistake having the main "screen" only fully viewable from 2 spots. Not planned very well. And those ugly barges in the middle of the lake - don't get me started on those.... Loved the updates on Club Cool and the new shop. Spaceship Earth LED lights look awesome, as does the LED lighting on the monorail. Glad some of your subscribers took care of you at Space 220. A little pricey, but I can see myself going there and spending the extra for the experience. Keep up the awesome coverage of WDW!
The original Illuminations was so great with all the international music and the focus was the world showcase and the illumination of the countries. I was especially impressed with the music chosen for the American portion “Rhapsody In Blues” Gershwin!
That was my favorite show. I actually didn't care for Reflections of Earth at first because I loved the original Illuminations so much. I eventually grew to love ROE, but this new show is just awful.
As usual your review is right in line with mine. Thank you for your honesty and not blindly saying it was okay. It is bad when they have to tell you good night it’s over. The best part was spaceship earth lighting up. Keep up the good work!!
Well no one can say you are in Disney’s pocket, that’s for sure, Brayden. Way to tell it like it is. Although for me less pyro is not a bad thing. My service dog never likes the loud bangs the fireworks make and friends with an autistic child can never stay more than a minute before he has problems, and ear plugs don’t work. Looks like a lot of progress at EPCOT, I hope they get it all done this year. Looking forward to going after all the 50th hoopla dies down, and more attractions are open. Good reporting as always Brayden!
I laughed when you talked about the retail idea that you don't want to distract the customer from the merchandise, because I worked for a pretty good clothing retailer that took their cues from Disney! They would say, "The customer is the guest," and, "We want our displays to sell a story, so that the customer can visualise their fantasy life when they live in our clothes."
How can you justify removing an iconic, meaningful show like Illuminations ROE (which had the best soundtrack ever) & replacing it with this mish- mosh of songs that have no connection to EPCOT? I don’t understand what Disney is thinking. I didn’t get the “Harmonious” theme. It felt more hectic than harmonious.
Illuminations needed some show tech updates behind the scenes and a bigger, higher resolution globe. But when Disney spends money they like to justify a return on investment which they thought they'd get dumping IP's into the World Showcase Lagoon. Hubris will prove very expensive on this one I think. Illuminations is just simply on another level. Thanks for Watching! ~Brayden
The connection to Epcot is the music from different parts of the world, especially the singing in different languages since they are in the world showcase
I agree this is a mess - Illuminations was such an Epic Show.. the song "We go on" was incredible..and it was all about the different countries and nations of the world..a very unifying theme...too bad.
Thank you Karen. Illuminations was a nice fireworks show, and the music was classic great Disney. Plus - Illuminations didn't RUIN the look of Epcot and its wonderful lake. Very sad...
It’s a crime this channel doesn’t have more subscribers. Fast, succinct, and honest presentation of park info. Video quality/editing is top notch as well. No need for 25-30 minute vlogs. Awesome job! Keep up the great work wish you tons of future success with this channel.
Well, right now World of Color looks pretty bad too since they've drained the lagoon to repair it -- it currently has the charm of a slimy empty swimming pool or maybe a water treatment plant! :P
I didn’t think of the angles of the center barge until you pointed it out. When I went recently, you can just barely have a center view from Japan. They probably thought they could get away with it due to the side barges but they put the main media on the biggest screen that literally 80% of the Showcase can’t even see.
Brayden, you continue to earn my respect by being frank and not brown nosing the Mouse. You are a credit to your profession. You epitomize the notion that you can love Disney and still stay objective. Thank you for your honest review.
I was pretty underwhelmed and disappointed with Harmonious. Seems like it’s designed to save money through less pyrotechnics. The Epcot ball looks cool though!
It was great to hang out with you again last night watching this show. I have an idea,..."flip" this show in two years into "Reflections of Earth 2.0" use all this new hardware to progress and develop all the themes and concepts of Reflections of Earth into a new show. New imagery, new music, and a new modified story that still fits the RoE tradition! I can visualize that! This hardware can be saved and repurposed into a brand new version of a show that we already love deeply! You ROCK buddy!!!
Thanks for the opportunity to keep current with Epcot’s status. I too was disappointed with the “oil rig” barges and the IP show. Epcot was intended as a view of the world and its unique countries and trades. Harmonious is not consistent with the unique cultures represented in Epcot - too bad - a clear misunderstanding by Chapek!
Brayden, I agree with your review of Harmonious. I'll be there Sunday to see it in person, but sight-lines is something they can't fix. Love Spaceship Earth and lights on the monorail.
Spot on review as ALWAYS! Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed. The two main focal points at 12 and 6 like you mentioned are blocked by the America Gardens theater and the VIP viewing area at the entrance to World Celebration. Which tells you alone their priorities.
I can recall when their lone VIP area was confined to the small water-level area located between the UK Pavilion and the bridge to France. They also staged the pricey pontoon boat tours under that bridge, too... But that was many years ago. A lot has changed, since...
No dessert parties for Harmonious? Can't figure out where we should go to watch when we are there in November. Always had a FP for the center spot at World Celebration. Really want to get photos of the show including the center ring. A friend who was there for the preview on Thurs shot from Italy, but you could not see any of the center ring. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.
I hope it gets canceled before that and replaced with something better. I am going next August and would love if they had a show that was worth watching.
I hope so too Kevin. I say - bring back Illuminations and its incredible music. This is a huge step backwards for a company that is ruining Epcot. Very sad.
SSE looks so gorgeous! And you are right, Brayden, the beginning and end needed more punctuation. We also were watching the live stream & were asking if it's over. Also the first 3 minutes without pyro is a snoozefest. They need to add some fireworks- not even a huge amount. Just a few booms even.
You're absolutely 100% correct that the oil rigs are a blight on the Lagoon. It was better when they had barges that they could bring out at dusk. That way, the sightline was clean and non polluted. Like you, I like the previous show, much better. It wasn't about the fireworks, it was about the uplifting message, and the patriotism. And, you are absolutely right that some of the intellectual property belongs in other parks.
Reminds of the failed “Light Magic” lol back at Disneyland under Paul Pressler in the 90s. I thought they said the countries would be incorporated more? Did I miss that? As a former Epcot Guest Relations host and VIP Tour Guide during the Illuminations Reflections of Earth and Tapestry of Nations era…I feel Harmonious doesn’t do anything to make you feel inspired. I honestly felt rather empty as a life long Disney fan who cares about the guest experience. There was nothing unique and “must see” about this show. Where was the flow? Where was the story and the heart? Where was the originality??? The finale song Harmonious is “Someday” from the credit sequence of Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame…that was maybe something I enjoyed but only because it has been enhanced (the original song is a snooze). This was just messy. The diehard Disney fans don’t want to hear that but there comes a time whern you have to start being honest and accept that the creativity and imagination level is not what it used to be. The only way you’ll get better Is by not supporting lackluster experiences. It’s like settling for a bad relationship. Epcot is a unique theme park and it deserves unique, creative and thrilling experiences that invite you to discover new possibilities. This is not it.
Epcot Forever was the middle ground between the two. Like a final farewell to what Epcot's real soul was about. Before that you have "Promise" and after that now you have "Someday" Someday is not guaranteed, Promise is a promise. Such opposite to Illumination's inspiration!
You do an awesome job my friend! One comment about the Space 220 restaurant, I am old enough to remember the Horizons pavilion and find it ironic that everyone is going crazy about the great space themed interior of this new restaurant, because what it replaced is not only a pavilion that showcased space but also included incredible desert and ocean living, it was amazing! People today would have loved it! This new restaurant is but a taste of the amazing glory that was the Horizons pavilion.
Thanks, Brayden, for such great coverage of this. So much info! I agree with your evaluation. The barges are an eye-sore during the day. Since you must be at the 6 or 12 o'clock spots to view the show correctly, and the length of time we will have to wait in order to have a good spot (especially when it's crowded), I think most people will be disappointed. However, Spaceship Earth is awesome!!! I love the monorail as well. Thanks also for the Space 220 Restaurant coverage. This is another outstanding video, Brayden.
Those barges look pathetic during the day. The big ring in the middle looks like a clunky '70s era looping coaster. Plus they all block key views around the lake.
It's sad to see and has been happening for years. On the west coast, with every downtime or change to any of the fireworks or Fantasmic, it always comes back with less pyro each time. The current Halloween show at Disneyland cut many of the most impactful pyro moments, and Fantasmic's finale is nothing like what it was 10 years ago. It's a few bursts now instead of the pyro barrage it used to have (which WDW still has for the most part).
Thank you for your honest assessment. Disney needs new leadership NOW. Chapek needs to go before the onslaught of damage he is leaving in his wake becomes irreversible. We are at a tipping point. I hope the stockholders understand how much he is doing to destroy the Disney brand that has been carefully crafted for half a century
Love your honesty. Spaceship Earth looks great, really elegant and something different from the overused projection mapping. Harmonious... well, it looks pretty generic. Would have preferred just a World of Colour style show that doesn't have as much visual impact during the day. I was worried Harmonious would be a disappointment when it even looked meh in Disney's promo videos.
I saw this show live for the first time Sunday night. I’m usually a very optimistic and open minded person and when Harmonious ended it was not something I feel like I had to see again right away. I can count the amount of times that’s happened with me at Walt Disney World on one hand. Technically the show is very impressive, but I think that is part of the problem. They got way too excited about jamming as much tech into the show as they could that it makes the whole thing feel overdone. There are no transitions between segments, just stops and starts, or "fade to black" moments. The Disney music and characters feel like spoon feeding, like Coco is a movie that takes place in Mexico so it's good for EPCOT, but with that the show does not spur imagination, it tells you what to imagine. Another problem was there were technical issues. For example, an issue with the laser projections last night. It was breezy, not windy, but just a bit breezy and that was enough to disrupt the spray above the “stargate” to where the laser projections didn’t work. There was a large section of the “stargate” that wasn’t working during the Jungle Book section. Also some of the fountains seemed like they weren't spraying at full power or whatever you would call that. There are A LOT of moving parts in this show and that’s just setting yourself up for tons and tons of maintenance issues, especially when all this stuff sits outside all day long. Last but very much not least is, the only place you get the full experience of the show is from the World Showcase Plaza. It’s the only place in all of world showcase you get the straight on sightline of everything that’s going on. I arrived at the park at about 8:15 for the 9:45 show and that area of World Showcase lagoon was already 20 people deep waiting for the show to start. I get that from a business perspective it’s more profitable for Disney to go after the casual fan that goes to the park sometimes with loading in a bunch of IP, vs the hard core fan that’s there all the time and would rather see something more original. But in my humble opinion, (IMHO for the kids) this was Disney trying to hit a grand slam but instead it’s just a big swing and a miss and I really don’t think it’s worth having the incredibly large set pieces in the lagoon permanently. However with the amount of money they spent on the giant set pieces I imagine they'll stay and they'll design a different show using them. I think the eye sore will remain for quite a while into the future.
I LOVE your honest opinions on these things and your outspoken criticism of the things Disney is doing! I totally agree! We need to speak out and speak up and let them know we are not happy with their decisions!
I watched it on the Parks Blog and was not overwhelmed. I was concerned about how it would look from multiple angles as well. I will hold my final opinion till Jan when I am there. Nice job on this!!!
I suppose that if Mission: Space doesn't make you hurl, perhaps Harmonious will. Before you stated it, I was certainly thinking it; the show will probably go the way of Rivers of Light. You're always going to get your Disney shills who will clap like seals for Harmonious or Chapek's D23 announcement for their merchandising partnership with Target. However, I continue to witness negative reactions from the quickly declining Disney experience, even from cast members and this certainly doesn't go unnoticed. Disney won't change until their wallets hurt and I think that point is coming soon.
I wouldn’t necessarily call people who like Harmonious shills, some people will inevitably enjoy it over Illuminations and Epcot Forever. Different people have different tastes
@@Mctwis1 Nah, this show really is inexcusable. Epcot was once a place of artistry and imagination that celebrated advancements in technology and the rich cultures of the world. Illuminations wasn't perfect but it held artistic merit and existed as a thesis statement for the mission and theming of Epcot. Harmonious however, is corporate pandering to an extremely shallow audience and the show itself isn't even executed well.
Big things: Harmonious, a big, loud, heavily marketed nighttime show that places so much attention on itself day and night Small things: LED lights on buildings that accentuates the mood and atmosphere, and doesn't intrude on the surrounding area
As bad as Harmonious is, I have hope it could be easily fixed with new story tweaks and better pacing/transitions. The most expensive part is fine imo (barges, pyro, fountains).
I think it's only a matter of time before those giant arms will break and maintenance costs mount. That combined with the creative and sightline issues will result in the barges being destroyed. We could be several versions into Harmonious at that point, you know I'm just daydreaming about a scenario with no more World Showcase tacos lol
@@MickeyViews look at how the arms block main screen even in up right station the platform was shrunk in planning to make arms safer and its thrown everything off. this show looks worse then SeaWorld's.
I think Space 220, the Monorail, and Spaceship Earth felt the most Disney as far as Epcot overhauls go. Based on what we've seen from Disney as far as shows and movies in the last year, and certain parts of the park but not others... I think the Imagineers are currently in a fight with the execs. Like I can feel the tension between those creative people who fell in love with the Soul of the park, and the execs watching budget, in the park itself. You'll see a ton of detail in some parts but not others. I don't know if you noticed, but that's something I've been majorly feeling.
WOW!!!!!🤩🤩 Great work, Brayden!!!😘😘 Because of Disney announcements, and Because of you, Spaceship Earth are now turned into Beacon of Magic!! And HarmonioUS was perfect!!!😁😁 and I remember about the story and the songs from the past!!! And now, the Future World name are NO MORE!!!! Because WALT DISNEY WORLD'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AND EPCOT'S NEIGHBORHOODS HAS FINALLY JUST BEGUN!!! And along with Disney Enchantment, Disney KITETAILS ARE MORE!!! And I can't wait for see a sneak preview of the upcoming attractions and projects at Walt Disney World, including Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!!! And so, World Showcase, World Nature, World Discovery and World Celebration are now unified!!! GOODBYE, FUTURE WORLD!!! WELCOME TO EPCOT'S NEIGHBORHOODS!!!
By any other name: “Mistake on the Lake” just the same. No emotion driving music and no room left for imagination. The beauty of Disney is making something simple “magical” like Small World. This is way over engineered (NOT IMAGINEERED) and still counts on pyro that has nothing to do with the barges! CRAZY!
I wish you had included "Dig A Little Deeper" in your review. It was THE BEST part of Harmonious, and gives Princess and the Frog the shine it deserves. That movie is criminally underrated, IMO
Great video update! I totally agree that Spaceship earth looks incredible and is the best addition to Epcot so far. I still think they should have went the World of Color route and make it bigger and better since the lagoon is larger and you don't have to see it during the day. But, we'll see what Disney does to Epcot.
The monorail led lights look great, didn’t Disney have the manufacture, Bomberder of Canada, completely overhauled the entire fleet of trains. Especially when they are over 32 years old! Spaceship earth looks beautiful with the new lights. The fireworks were okay but not like before, they skimped on this Successor. Thank you Braden for your great work here.
Your video is the first I've seen that makes the LEDs on spaceship earth look good... so kudos to that. 110% Agreed with everything you said in this video. And wow, nice surprise with monorails! I like it!
First off, Brayden, the new hair cut and scruff looks fantastic on you! Just sayin 🤷🏼♂️ it would be awesome to run into you next year! Also, thanks for all the updates! These are always a blast. You are awesome.
DISAGREE!!!!! This show is my 2nd favorite show EVER (after wishes) I saw it twice in person and gave me goosebumps! so many beautiful colors, the fireworks were beautifully timed and IT DOES FIT with EPCOT! i dont know what is wrong with people.... it brings cultures through disney movies! what more do you want. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spaceship earth looks beautiful, can’t wait to see it in person next year. Wasn’t keen on Harmonious - too busy - didn’t know what to look at and the sound wasn’t great. Will have to see it in person to know for sure. Thanks for taking us with you to see it Brayden
It"s been so fun watching Brandon grow up thru the years. That little boy who reviewed the monorail set so many years ago is now a man but the little boy still lives inside. ❤
The spaceship Earth lights are amazing! I hope they never take those off. Dude, you had the best coverage and I love your enthusiasm about the parks. Congrats on eating at space 220 and keep up the great vids👍🏻😀
Thursday night Harmonious show was the preview for all the Disney execs. We were by the boat dock near Mexico and the gift shop along the water. They had a special VIP area blocked off for them. Iger, Chapek, DiMarro were all there watching. We saw them walk in. I completely agree, this is not an Epcot show. They should have torn down the castle in Magic Kingdom and put this show there where it belongs. The LED show last night on Spaceship Earth after most people were in the parking lot was for the VIPs. We watched it from the parking lot while we waited for traffic to ease up. That part was the best part of what I saw last night. I'm surprised they didn't do that sooner
Great Video Brayden…thank you very much…we were at Disney in Dec 2019 and want to return badly !!!…i’m not gonna comment on Harmonious, i’ll let others do that…but Spaceship Earth looks awesome and the LED’s beneath the Monorail is a great idea !!…once again, thanks for all that you do, it’s much appreciated
I would say that your assessment Braiden was SPOT ON! Harmonious looks like a FANTASTIC show for...Magic Kingdom. I didn't have a problem with the proposed IP insertion on paper, but how it was executed leaves much to be desired. The show is missing the "connective tissue" between the IP and REAL People & Places of the Earth that EPCOT is all about. Even the transitions from song to song, sequence to sequence seem rocky or disjointed...the FLOW and the Magic is missing! Illuminations had all these things, and the connection to the Earth and it's people that this show doesn't. Although technically inferior to Harmonious in every conceivable way, I believe that Illuminations was a FAR better and inspiring experience overall. No matter how many times I would leave EPCOT at the end of each night I would have the music of Illuminations following me home (or to my resort)...I can barely put together the songs of Harmonious into something to hum, or tap my feet to. Perhaps when I get the chance to see the show in person, my opinion may be swayed a little, but right now, I think your fears of the IP infusion were realized big time in this show. Of course they may tweak the show elements, music, mix and edit and THEY COULD shine this diamond in the rough, but they need to put the people and the heart back in, or this show could be one to skip from time to time, rather than be a must see, every time at EPCOT. On Spaceship Earth though....WOW, the new LEDs look amazing, and the LEDs on the Monorails look fantastic too...Harmonious...Meh!
The only problem with the comparison to RoL is that RoL had its own off to the side theater. This is right in the middle of everything where there really isn't a choice. Kind of a "you're gonna watch and like it" *holds head aggressively* ...
That's very true. The comparison really only exists to point out the fact that Disney spent a lot of money trying to develop a show doesn't guarantee its survival which some people think it does. Also, reading tea leaves, I suspect there may be a future parallel between both of these shows in terms of technical problems posing major issues to their long term viability.
Great overview and video! Saw the harmonious barges in person for the first time a couple weeks ago and they are even worse looking in person. Giant eyesore
You're right on the core issues when you refer to the success of Illuminations and where Harmonious falls short. I'm fine with less Pyro, but this show leaves me unimpressed. It's, as you said, "a bunch of oil rigs", with video walls stuck to them. My personal opinion is that if projection mapping is their new thing, they should have done that on each of the countries as opposed to the old white-light-outlines of Illuminations. That would eliminate the floating video walls. Then they could have put the concrete pillars just under the water surface and mounted a World-of-Color styled platform submerged just under the surface with only fountains in use by day and the full gamut for the show at night. That means we'd only see some small pyro barges brought out for the evening show. Would have cost a boat-load less, provided the same effects but more immersive with the projection mapping of nations behind folks, etc. ...but what do I or any of us know? We don't have a mouse in our pockets.
He called it! And he was dead on. Year later and now the oil rigs are gone. He is so correct. These night time firework shows are built for one reason alone…to get and keep people on the park and spending money until close. The longer they can keep customers walking around, riding rides etc…they will spend money. If guests only watch this show once and never decide to stay late and see it again then it’s not successful in Disney’s eyes I always go back to Illuminations, it had a great story line that really tied each pavilion in together and made it feel like we are all one on this earth. It’s why it was so popular. They should just revamp illuminations..cause that’s what worked all these years. 🎉🎉
Thanks for your honest views on the new harmonious. I agree with what you said. I was hoping maybe it would seem better when you are up close and personal versus watching it on the live feeds. I won't be there until January to see it for myself..
I know what you mean about the barges. It was the exact same thing with the sorcerer‘s hat at Disney (MGM) studios. Best Disney studios day for me was when it came down.
Agree 100% Brayden! Visually Harmonious is beautiful but it didn't give me the emotion that Illuminations did every time I saw it, even after dozens of times. Illuminations wasn't just Disney songs, it was human history and real life, with the visuals it was just so good. The old Epcot songs going back to the Millennium celebration like Tapestry of Nations etc are such a better fit in EPCOT.
I don’t know how I missed this in my subscription feed. I completely agree with you about Harmonious. Not a big enough payoff for those barges, shouldn’t be IP based, and they have a unique opportunity for a 360 show and they didn’t take advantage of it. I absolutely love the beacons of magic on spaceship earth. I never noticed the LEDs under the monorail on any of the other channels I watch. Very cool! I completely disagree with Disney’s assumption that a sleeker (boring) store makes you spend more on the merchandise. I am way more likely to spend too much money if my imagination is being sparked and I feel like I’m in another world or a very special place. I automatically think it’s a unique opportunity to buy something I can’t find elsewhere. Those stores look like the Disney stores you can find in any big mall in big cities.
This is why I enjoy watching Brayden's content. He's not a Disney simp. When Disney disappoints he says so. He loves Disney but doesn't excuse their poor decisions. Keep up the great work!
He is honest and that's why we watch him! Great job Brayden!

Great video. Thanks for the continuing Epcot construction updates.
As a brand new monorail CM, I agree. Got to take my victory lap in Green, so she is quite special to me. Glad Green was 1st to show off the LEDs
Beacons of Magic > Harmonious
Also, didn’t Disney say Harmonious was gonna be their biggest fireworks show ever? Didn’t seem like it unless I missed something.
Definitely!
Your right. It felt more like a water and monitor show. Not as much fireworks.
I get what you mean but maybe they're trying to do something a bit more eco friendly than fireworks?
@@peteandrews9793 less fireworks is not an issue for me, beacons is so simple but represents Epcot far better.
Disney says a lot of things they don’t follow through with.
Love the monorail LED's and Spaceship earth. Harmonious - I agree completely with you, don't think it will last long.
I hope you are right Vern. Bring back the simplicity of Illuminations and its wonderful music!
Agreed
I have gained even more respect for you from your honest review of Harmonious. You aren’t just shilling for media invites. Very fair. Thank you!
I wasn’t excited about this show at all and figured it wasn’t going to be that great. Wish Disney would listen to there customers more on.
Spaceship earth looks gorgeous!! Im so excited to see that.
Oil rigs is the right description.
Spot on analysis of Harmonious. What a snooze. I didn't like any of the music or IP shown. Big mistake having the main "screen" only fully viewable from 2 spots. Not planned very well. And those ugly barges in the middle of the lake - don't get me started on those....

Glad some of your subscribers took care of you at Space 220. A little pricey, but I can see myself going there and spending the extra for the experience.
Keep up the awesome coverage of WDW!
Don’t worry about the barges ….
I’ve heard they are going to be covered with a curtain…
A curtain of invisibility borrowed from Harry’s Potter
Yeah. Didn’t like it. Chaotic. No story. The music was really off. 3 small screens and some awkward sprinklers. I hope they do better.
HAters always hate diversity. Period.
Spaceship Earth lighting is absolutely amazing!! I hope Disney keeps this forever!!
The original Illuminations was so great with all the international music and the focus was the world showcase and the illumination of the countries. I was especially impressed with the music chosen for the American portion “Rhapsody In Blues” Gershwin!
Rhapsody in Blue was my favorite part of that very spectacular show.
That was my favorite show. I actually didn't care for Reflections of Earth at first because I loved the original Illuminations so much. I eventually grew to love ROE, but this new show is just awful.
Definitely a huge let down and hopefully, it has a short shelf light just like Happily Ever After. Spaceship Earth looks spectacular!
@2freeIvX just like you have your own. We all are our own
As usual your review is right in line with mine.
Hi Andrew. Knowing you have a service dog, I'll simply say - God Bless You!!
@@alexandrareid4100 Princess & the Frog, Jungle Book, Lion King & Hercules have NOTHING to do with World Showcase!
His channel is amazing. Best on youtube!
Seems like World of Color with everything above the water. WOC looks much better
Agree!
Harmonious feels more like an interim replacement for Epcot Forever rather than Epcot Forever being the interim replacement for Harmonious
Agree, and Epcot Forever felt like an interim replacement for Illuminations...Are we going backward...
Brayden, you continue to earn my respect by being frank and not brown nosing the Mouse. You are a credit to your profession. You epitomize the notion that you can love Disney and still stay objective. Thank you for your honest review.
Disney can do BETTER! Disney SHOULD do better. It is what it is though.
Hi Clifflix - I like your idea, except it will not remove those 3 monstrosities from ruining the view of the lake, which was a special part of Epcot.
Seeing Brayden's smile at the beginning of his videos is the highlight of my day!
@@twoblacklabs904 yep… times they have changed
No dessert parties for Harmonious?
Can't figure out where we should go to watch when we are there in November. Always had a FP for the center spot at World Celebration.
Really want to get photos of the show including the center ring. A friend who was there for the preview on Thurs shot from Italy, but you could not see any of the center ring. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.
Harmonious probably gonna be canceled after the 50th ends. I don’t see it lasting as far as that
I hope it gets canceled before that and replaced with something better. I am going next August and would love if they had a show that was worth watching.
Bring back Epcot Forever and add the SCORE to Promise and We Go On! If you can't build a globe or kites it's okay.
Tapestry of Nations was my all time favorite!
Dang, that was a good comment. 👍
Agree 100% - I wish they just kept Illuminations and upgraded some part (The light on spaceship earth would have worked great with it)..
@@ericb.9907 Or use Spaceship Earth as the Globe.
Spaceship Earth is fantastic, Harmonious is awful.
Lots of respect and props giving an honest take on everything that is occurring at the parks. We don't owe Bob C. Anything.
AGAIN, I appreciate your honesty Brayden!!!!!!!!!!
The fireworks were terrible. Chapek cutting costs so obvious.
Bob Paycheck.
THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HOOKED HIM UP AT 220!!!! That is Disney Magic right there!
It is so refreshing to see you in the parks, rather than parked behind your desk.
Good for you for calling them out on Harmonious! It looks cool but the IP ruins it and needs more pyro!
I LOVE your honest opinions on these things and your outspoken criticism of the things Disney is doing! I totally agree! We need to speak out and speak up and let them know we are not happy with their decisions!
Spot on with your review of Harmonious, Brayden! I agree with you 1000%! Love those new monorail lights and “the beacons.”
Harmonious was AMAZING!
Literally one of the best fireworks show i ever saw
The finale makes me have chills
Big things: Harmonious, a big, loud, heavily marketed nighttime show that places so much attention on itself day and night
Small things: LED lights on buildings that accentuates the mood and atmosphere, and doesn't intrude on the surrounding area
I do preferred the Spaceship lighting more than the Harmonious show; I could sit and watch that newly lighted sphere all night long.
@@MickeyViews Yeah, maintenance problems could definitely be on the horizon.
@@MickeyViews look at how the arms block main screen even in up right station the platform was shrunk in planning to make arms safer and its thrown everything off. this show looks worse then SeaWorld's.
Thank you so much for the honest review of Harmonious. I agree wholeheartedly!
Always appreciate you keeping it real, Brayden!
I’ve got to say I loved the 4 second finale
Same, I actually liked the ending act, but that was all I really liked.
Same but I hate the 4 second finale lol
Excellent reporting and I love your honesty to us as that is so important to me.

love the honest review of the show dude, keep up the great work
Thanks Brayden for remaining honest! I couldn’t agree more with you!
Love the LEDs on the monorail!!!!!
The Monorail lights and Space Ship Earth lights made my day! 😃👍
That was really kind of those Guests at Space 220
Monorail 🚝 street glow
It’s also lowered and has bass boosted music 🎶
Like the fact that you’re honest with your opinions. Keep up the great job. 👍🏻 👍🏻
WOW!!!!!🤩🤩 Great work, Brayden!!!😘😘
Because of Disney announcements, and Because of you, Spaceship Earth are now turned into Beacon of Magic!!
I totally agree with you about Harmonious, Brayden!😂
The LEDs look sic! Can't wait to get back to WDW!
Monorail under carriage LEDs too!? Rad!👍👍👍
Nothing like reality to confirm expectations. Thanks for the update and video
I like it!

I love the details you notice like the cloud over future world
Great Video Brayden…thank you very much…we were at Disney in Dec 2019 and want to return badly !!!…i’m not gonna comment on Harmonious, i’ll let others do that…but Spaceship Earth looks awesome and the LED’s beneath the Monorail is a great idea !!…once again, thanks for all that you do, it’s much appreciated
Spaceship earth made me cry 🥲
The only problem with the comparison to RoL is that RoL had its own off to the side theater. This is right in the middle of everything where there really isn't a choice. Kind of a "you're gonna watch and like it" *holds head aggressively* ...
That's very true. The comparison really only exists to point out the fact that Disney spent a lot of money trying to develop a show doesn't guarantee its survival which some people think it does. Also, reading tea leaves, I suspect there may be a future parallel between both of these shows in terms of technical problems posing major issues to their long term viability.
as always.... awesome and honest reporting! Thanks so much! ( and I agree with you100% )
Great overview and video! Saw the harmonious barges in person for the first time a couple weeks ago and they are even worse looking in person. Giant eyesore
Best Disney channel by far, good work!
Your new smile looks great! And you were spot on about Harmonious. It's really bizarre imo.
He called it! And he was dead on. Year later and now the oil rigs are gone. He is so correct. These night time firework shows are built for one reason alone…to get and keep people on the park and spending money until close. The longer they can keep customers walking around, riding rides etc…they will spend money. If guests only watch this show once and never decide to stay late and see it again then it’s not successful in Disney’s eyes
I always go back to Illuminations, it had a great story line that really tied each pavilion in together and made it feel like we are all one on this earth.
Spot on commentary
and opinion!!!👍
I saw you recording some of this at club cool on the 27th!! It was so cool to see you but my parents didn't let me come and say hi
