I'm hoping beyond hope that HBO or someone else will make a Book of Dust series, but thanks to HBOs lack of promoting His Dark Materials, and the subsequent lack of viewership, it probably won't happen. But I'll continue to hold on to that hope.

@@lily_bookmark The first book is called La Belle Sauvage and takes place when Lyra is just a baby and has been brought to a nunnery before Lord Asriel drops her off at Jordan College. It also centres on a boy called Malcom Polstead and how he ends up crossing paths with Lyra. The 2nd book, The Secret Commonwealth takes place some years after the events of The Amber Spyglass when Lyra is a young woman and studying at Jordan College. She and her daemon have drifted apart both physically and emotionally since being separated in the Land of the dead. I'm afraid Will isn't mentioned in either of the 2 books.
