I purchased the Gustard Audalytics AH90 and have KLH Model 5 speakers. I am very happy. the AH90 is a great kit and for the money: Headphone amp, Streamer and DAC a steal at 1/3 rd the price of the A26 or R 26.

@@jvfaura Mine works flawlessly. When using Tidal or Roon one has to indicate the output endpoint. If you are having "network" problems, I would assume you could have a either set-up problems or the following: signal strength or proper identification of the endpoint (driver, if applicable.)
I do everything exactly according to the instructions and it still doesn't work for me. If I'm already at the point where I select in Balena etcher Select target, it only shows me my hard drives in the computer and nothing related to my Gustard A26. I don't understand why? Can someone help me?
@HiFi_Paradise thanks for the tutorial, works very well on R26. I've just received an A26, and should DSD native, the SDM settings in HQPlayer are not working, the music is having drops every 5 sec. My CPU is at 50% (i9-9900kf). Could you recommend PCM & SDM settings for A6 please ?

Yes, A8 is made of dual Delta-sigma AKM chips, should be close to the A26 (same chips) in term of details. However, for the soundstage & "organic" rendu I think the R26 is still better. A8 & A26 are faster for modern music, and if you like to feel the voices ahead of the rest, but for a pure guitar recording, slow jazz songs, R26 is better IMHO. Again it also depends on the connectivity, strangely the A26 & R26 sounds better using the LAN interface (through Roon) and even better in NOS mode (where NOS is enabled i.e. internal A/R26 OS is not oversampling anything) with Roon/HQPlayer vs A8 or A6/ME connected by USB to the R26 or A26 (in this case the A8 is used a simple streamer, which is a waste of money IMHO).

When I'm playing files 16bit 44.1khz via Roon - I can hear noise, the best way to hear it - put amp volume to 0 and I hear this noise, but in the same time when I'm playing file 96khz or 192khz - there is no any noise. And when Ipaused playback - there is no noise... Maybe someone already met with this problem? Any suggestions? PS I think R26 and A26 share the same platform for working with Roon...

maybe the trick is to unckeck adapative rate, no more drops, hope this help others ...

HQ player does all the Upsampling itself. It needs only a clear signal and then you have showtime.

You can turn off the blinking light from R26 settings, check it out.

why is it unhealthy?
Relay shouldn’t click with sample rate changes but with DSD to PCM and vis versa

Yes, HQplayer can run on Windows PC, needs gaming PC like hardware. You can upsample to DSD or PCM and it sounds better than roon only.
The flash for my A26 from 1.4 to 1.43 failed. Can this be resolved? Now BubbleBNP can't find my A26 anymore :( Luckily still works fine as DAC

depends how “clean” is the lan cable to R26.
Last I checked it was noiser and Eversolo Sounded cleaner.
