that's funny about the refrigerator are 10 old one just crapped out and the one down stairs is 34 years old and still kicking. the Surewinder has less parts.
Yeah I think you went wrong with the spring turner! The brute winder seams so much less going on but hey after you use it more it might just be second nature! I always mount my center spring bracket first then lift my springs in and put my bolts on then your not fighting to hold it up and try and screw it to the header then your right on your line! But there are many ways to skin a cat!
We've got a Spring Turner at our shop and man its definitely a shoulder saver. It makes me nervous winding 6 inch springs and duplex springs but it winds them no problem with a 20volt dewalt drill. The only thing I do different is i always have a winding bars at the ready in case i have a spring bind up or something fails in the winder.
Never seen that spring winder before. Where I work we have the sure winders
I hear the sure winder is nicer.

Good idea 👍
Get some popcorn 🍿 for this one
Those are rather long springs, how many cycles are those good for? Is that a standard spring or is it an add on? I always did 10k cycle springs.
I believe they are just the standard 10k still the original springs. Building isn’t that old so the got a few years left.
@@affordabledoorgatellc7391 did you copy the sizes down so when they call you can save time
That’s a good idea.
