The title of this being “Weight of Life” just encompasses his entire character so well, I’m in shock. This song is very beautiful and soothing. His character arc is amazing.
I LOVE SHAMANE HE'S SUCH A BEAST (pun intended) THIS SONG FITS HIM PERFECTLY! from the time I saw that one scene where he was holding the wolf cub after having defeated the bear, I instantly fell in love with his story. I always knew there was something very deep about his character. the lyrics "I have learned the weight of life" hit so hard especially after you've played his story. Shamane never really had a concrete feeling towards what happened in his past, guilty yet not regretful. he didnt know what to live for. He couldnt abandon his belief that humans and arcanists should co-exist and also couldnt get over the fact that his belief got his family killed. Until that one scene where he fought the bear. He got over his numbness to the scene of death, and felt the weight of life and the fear that comes with it once more. Therefore his "rebirth as a shaman". He was reminded once more of his mortal constraints and the fleeting nature of life. In the past he was always looking for life's meaning but then he realized he didn't have to search for something like that anymore, and his nightmares stopped. It's also really cool how he has the bear in his ult animation. It shows how the life he took weighed upon him. He has one of the greatest backstories and development arcs in the game IMO, and he's just really cool. also p5 shamane is the best dps
Oh my gosh this is so heavenly!! The background animation combined with the soundtrack was already giving me the vibes but then he sings!! I can totally imagine Shamane just reflecting on life and reminiscing all experiences he's had while singing this. It feels like manifestation of his true voice deep inside his heart. Truly a song which was tailor made for this brilliant character. Well done again Bluepoch!
I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with this game’s story telling, character designs, and artistic approach. I know they fairly new to the scene, but this is criminally underrated. As an artist I strive to reach levels of expressive illustration like this, and there’s something about this game’s world that’s refreshing to see in a way that isn’t all too common. This game is too cool man I swear 💖 Also may our Shamane pulls be blessed
I was too busy wishing we had a new main story chapter instead, this whole event caught me off guard with how good it was. All great characters, but Shamane really did steal the show.

I love the drums, One of theme (the bassy/bubbly/jingly one) is a called a kanjira, yeah, a character is named after a drum in this song.. (Source: am a percussionist) Also this is why Kanjira is my favorite character in Rev1999. You can thank me playing drums as a kid for that.. 😂

I feel like the lyrics on this one aren't for me, doesn't really feel catchy honestly. Unexpected Storm, Take Me Back to You, Rerereregulus, and even the new Catch You Now lyrics are very catchy. But overall, the theme and tone of the music is still very good and it fits the character though.
