LT and MORR are my favorite channels. Seeing you guys comes together was epic in my world. Not a bad birthday present at all. Thanks. Also, you picked the right guy to help build a truck motor (or two?).
I'm absolutely blown away. This engine for Matts Off road is defo a one of a kind and your a master engine guy. I am an old big diesel engine chap from Africa. You just made my day. Happy Christmas to you all.
I saw your welds on MORR earlier today, and was impressed. Those are some of the tidiest TIG welds I've ever seen. I hope your channel gets a huge boost from collaborating with Matt and his crew. You totally deserve it. Seeing Matt and Kaitlyn giggling their socks off driving the spud truck around the block was so funny.
Thanks for the Christmas present, LT! As a devout fan of MORR, I’ve been waiting for this day. Matt made me a fan of your’s, LT. Merry Christmas to all and the happiest of New Years!🎄🎆
Never would have imagined watching you on power nation one day being on “RUclips”, let alone on Matt’s off-road recovery. Very happy to be along for the ride and being able to see you keep on working. Merry Christmas and thanks for the videos. 🎄
Absolutely a pleasure to see you work with Matt, man! You've got a fan in me for sure! Hope to shake your hand someday, LT! NICE JOB ON THE SPUD'S HEART!!! WHAT A BEAST!!!
Wow, this is absolutely insane! 🚗💥 The supercharged 6x6 is a total beast! It’s amazing to see the work and creativity that went into building such a monster. The power and performance of this truck must be off the charts! I can’t wait to see it in action, this is definitely next-level engineering. Great job on building such an incredible ride! 👏🔥
Last century, I used to kneel down on the floor and work on things like you. My head was screaming, "Find a bench." I am Ed's age. Last century, I completely rewired my '57 Jeep. I only needed seven colors of wires.
@ still spinning the rearmost tires, atleast 200 pounds of 35 inch tires is impressive. Especially since as you pointed out the shifters aren't even in yet
It looked like you guys had a blast putting the Spud Truck on the road.. You really know your stuff LT. I’ve been following Matt from almost day 1 for him. I’m now subscribed to your channel and will be checking you out on a regular basis.. Great Job on the build. Be Safe in you Work MWP Cosby, Tn.
Glad to see good Americans working together that whole family of off rotors off-road recovery guys hall 100% awesome people we need more Happy holidays and great job on that engine and it’s Installation 💯👏✊🇺🇸
I watched it on Matt’s channel and the smile on your face says it all. The only correction I have for you is that the locals pronounce it “hurri-kin” instead of “hura-cane.”
LT, after watching Matt's version of this, it's just so obvious that you are the master of engine builds, you also know way more than Matt on building anything!
It was worth the wait!! Thanks LT. Please make the Morrvair faster than a Jeep. By a Lot! The drivetrain should handle anything you put in there except for the trans.
That engine is a thing of rare beauty. I almost felt like the installation of push rods and lifters should have been done in a cleanroom, like a NASA space probe.
As a long time fan and someone with an office very close to your office, if the MORRVAIR was really in town, I don't think you could stop me from Volunteering every day from sweeping your floors, doing whatever I could do to help with the (re) build.
Hi LT I sent this suggestion to Matt You Need More Torque !! Build a Gen 4, NA, LS3 416 Stroker Install a closed sump oiling system, and wire up a low oil pressure shut down circuit (with an over ride switch for emergencies). This oiling system will create additional ground clearance under the engine, and prevent oil starvation on steep grades. Install a large oil cooler, and shield the closed sump oil tank and lines from rocks, etc. Use a camshaft for a lot of low end torque, and crisp throttle response. Maximize the engine cooling system, and have heat inside the vehicle for comfort and window defrosting on cold days. And don't forget to have air conditioning for hot summer days
LT I appreciate the lack of editing on your channel. I have been watching this entire build series on both channels and it wasn’t until the last few minutes of your video that I saw what I was looking for. Matt has been editing out any view of the passenger door on the spud truck hoping we will forget he dropped it on the lift. 😂 glad to see your attention to detail ❤
Second time watching this video - Watched Matt's video two times as well. I would appreciate a detailed teardown and rebuild videos with few edits.. just let the camera run. You could feature them in a members only section and in three weeks release for the subscribed. I would like to know, why you choose certain part combinations and vendors e.g blower. If your machining blocks would like to see a walk through a well. Just a few ideas - a great channel, you and Matt compliment each other.
Did the wire harness include larger wires to supply more amps to the high output coils? I went with Davis Unified Ignition coils high output coils on my LS. Figured a small company like that is still making quality products. Found out that the factory wire harness can struggle to supply enough power to the coils so I wired in a "MSD LS Coil Harness, Power Upgrade". Those Holley valve covers are sweet!!! love the integrated coil mounting.
Kaulin said the top boost was 162 KPa That is about 23.5 psi. Your ambient pressure is ~100KPa or 1 bar so 62 KPa is about 9 psi boost. Your guess was close enough for government work!
I wondered about that, and stupidly thought that it had to be relative since as they were idling it was reading 0, but then I remembered that this is a petrol engine with what should be a pretty decent vacuum in the manifold at idle and while running down. Nine PSI it is then 🙂
Would've been cool to see a non-emissions Duramax with a modern turbo in this thing. But I get why Matt likes tossing LS's in these rigs. Turning a decent RPM for the wheel speed to "float" on that soft sand.
At llast know do they finish this spud truck or as normal start some thing new again. I would just for something knew to see them concentrate on this spud truck to where it is in working condition to start earning its from Edds mine.
Thanks, LT!
Let’s do it again soon.

f
morrvair
Put the party pulley on
Con Matt into building that 8.1 in the wrecker as well as the morrvair
LT needs to swap motors on the morrvair
The reference to Matt's claw hammer was gold .
LT you are a bad influence on Matt. Can't wait to see what you do with the Morvair😂
Looks like Matt picked the right man for the job. Nice, clean, organized and knowledgeable. Nice work LT! 👍
I'm absolutely blown away. This engine for Matts Off road is defo a one of a kind and your a master engine guy. I am an old big diesel engine chap from Africa. You just made my day. Happy Christmas to you all.
What engines are you most familiar with?
@@wtice4632 Big old diesels, duh. : p
Happy Christmas!!
🎉🎉good
LT you're a very well-spoken professional and it looks like you're actually having a good time.
Carry on
Excellent job LT...
Like your attention to detail...Matt sure was happy.
Thx

LT, it was a privilege getting to know your channel and watching you help Matt with the supercharged Spud 6x6 truck project.
It'll sound even better once the exhaust is installed. Can't wait!
Awesome! That thing is way too nice for Matt!
Amazing work, I just hope it can keep cool while it's idling for 30-60 minutes trying to load up.
I know its early, but Merry christmas everyone
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you as well!
Matt builds some of the best machines imagininable. Now he has one with one of the best engines imaginable. I love how his whole circle are LS guys.
The perfect opposites combination. Mr. Detail and that’s good enough with a claw hammer. Well done!
LT’S comment when he used the “Claw. Hammer “ “This thing feels so wrong”😂

Great to see the team up and really rolling with the six axles. Nice work LT.
LT welding is clean
Absolutely stellar LT!!! That will be a beast 💪
The shock on my face when I saw 400 pounds of tires just spittin clouds the first time. Great build
It ain't spinning 400lb of tyres, it's in 2wd, they don't have any of the shifters for the transfer cases in
@ still spinning the rearmost tires, atleast 200 pounds of 35 inch tires is impressive. Especially since as you pointed out the shifters aren't even in yet
You have made me a believer, LT! Thank you for bringing Horsepower to MORR. Merry Christmas

Great video. Your knowledge of engine builds is impressive!
Can't wait for the wrecker drags in Florida if they ever make good on that.
Time to upgrade the Morrvair. Basically watched this stuff twice, but still nice to see! Great work!
Thats one sweet truck and one badass motor. Nice job LT, you did a hell of a job
You have made my week. Love this (I'm a big fan of Matt's) work you've done on this monster. Keep it up.
Glad to see good Americans working together that whole family of off rotors off-road recovery guys hall 100% awesome people we need more
Happy holidays and great job on that engine and it’s
Installation
💯👏✊🇺🇸
Haven't seen you since the power block.
Glad to see your still enjoying what you do. 💯
I've been happy with the Wagoneer, but now you're making me think I might have to bring it back for a blower -lol
Awesome build, LT!!!
Such a sweet build, nice work fellas 👍🇺🇸
Awesome build 🤘
Watch out for Peanut, she'll get you if you're in lick range!
All that's missing is the voice over guy saying next on truck we go for a test drive lol😂😂
Except this doesn't feel like a commercial 🤣
Its a real credit to all on this build cream on top is the engine!!
The spacers under the blower and tall valve covers really fill out the engine bay
Great to have a video of watching LT, not just seeing his face.
I love your presentation. Good job. Top notch.
Great job. What a great Christmas present
Great job brother! Cool seeing 4wheels spinning. Merry Christmas
Build another one for the morrvair
Good joy Injoyed the series.
I watched it on Matt’s channel and the smile on your face says it all. The only correction I have for you is that the locals pronounce it “hurri-kin” instead of “hura-cane.”

Thank4 doing this 4 Matt
Good video.

That is one great engine. I need something like that in my 77 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am
That thing is awesome!
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Nice job brother turned out sweet
You can definitely tell that LT still has those voice-over skills left over from motortrend
Awesome engine build
Aw, you left out the fun in the sand!
Great job, LT! That thing is going to be one of their most-used rigs, and you did it justice!
Awesome build 😮
What a beautiful truck and motor
that thing is sick - you guys are not right lol
Amazing WORK 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏼
As a long time fan and someone with an office very close to your office, if the MORRVAIR was really in town, I don't think you could stop me from Volunteering every day from sweeping your floors, doing whatever I could do to help with the (re) build.

I would call that a success!!

This thing oozes "cool" 😎😎😎
I love it!!
I've watched Matt and I am looking forward to the Morveer engine upgrade
Hey Matt . You need to make your roll back 6 wheel steer,!!!
Second time watching this video - Watched Matt's video two times as well. I would appreciate a detailed teardown and rebuild videos with few edits.. just let the camera run. 28:59 Congratulations‼️ You just woke up the whole Neighborhood ‼️✌️😂😂😂
Put some diesel stacks for exhaust with the little water flaps ..

Ahhh that makes more sense. Absolute pressure strikes again!

So Amazing i like to see that in real life i think i need travel to USA from Sweden
A good truck
That is awesome 👍 love it ❤..
Merry Christmas Craftsmen
IS THAT A HD GEN 2 1/2 CYCLONE. ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE IVE SEEN ONE OF THOSE. 😂🤣😂
THAT CYCLONE HD BURN OUT WAS PRETTY COOL.
Glad to see you guys running the head plates. Sad you didnt go with a much more robust front drive tho....
Would've been cool to see a non-emissions Duramax with a modern turbo in this thing. But I get why Matt likes tossing LS's in these rigs. Turning a decent RPM for the wheel speed to "float" on that soft sand.
From Matt's - nice to meet you!😮

Merry Christmas
What happened to the blue New edge Mustang GT? I was getting really excited.
Hi can't wait to see when the truck is dun.
I was wondering how you wer going to put the motor in with the blower.Already bolted on to it
It's the first time.I've ever seen that
I like that truck. Hopefully I’ll be able to build something like that and turn into an overland vehicle but with a some diesel power.
Very cool!😊
Someone tell Cleetus. This is the collab we need. Wrecker build off and drag race!
Nah, tucan-sam can keep his shenanigans on his channel.
Rory did throw down the challenge. And Cleetus did say he was in.
So there's a possibility
Sick engine build. That ole truck is going to get abused lol
LT is right, more HP!
Is there a reason why you guys didn’t go with long tube headers?
Aren't engines normally level when attached to the frame? That engine seems slightly off kilter in the spud truck.
