Yea, dollar general, from my experience, has always been like that but if you find the right Dollar Tree then you can get everything for not $1 but $1.25 you just gotta find the right one

Same, my manager asked me one day to come on on open, on my day off. When I got there 8 hours passed I said "Hey I forgot to ask what time im here till" he said "Oh you're just here you're closing" was it my fault for not asking how long he needed me, sure. But it was also only like my second job and I just turned 18 so those labor laws didn't apply to me anymore. Didn't really think I had to ask if I was working for more than 8 hours.

There’s an aisle of dollar or below grocery’s as well as assorted generic brands that tend to be 2 dollars or under for medicines or hygiene products. The name brand stuff and non-survival items tend to be more expensive.
