They are definitly a thing everywhere. I have never used one personally but I sold them at the kitchen store I worked at in Canada. They always had Swiss themes and names.
my fav combo is frying the mushrooms on top of the raclette,then adding potato (already cut to smaller pieces),corn,beans & the fried mushrooms to the pan with raclette cheese! also add selfmade gucamole or yogurt herb dip. so yum!
Haha, the food trauma is real 😂 I ate some chocolate covered strawberries at a christmas market once and developed a nasty stomach bug afterwards... Been avoiding anything strawberry ever since 😂 (this was in 2016 btw) But tbh, it makes for a great running gag 🤣 If I or my family and friends see something strawberry themed - boy, then IT IS ON 👏🏻

Hi Vincent, I thought of a possible addition for you to try out. Maybe if you added a wee bit of balsamic vinegar reduction (it thickens up to a very lovely ooze-y, unctuous delight when reduced over heat), your caprese raclette dish would get thrust into the supersonic flavour stratosphere? Just a suggestion! Loved watching you put everything together in the little ‘shovels’ - it looks like a really fun way to make scrumptious morsels!!!
@vinsainto PLS try the original "Kässpätzle" i grew up in liechtenstein and we really do it soo nice with like 3 or 4 different cheeses and in winter it's literally the best thing ever. the "dough" is really soft and with cheese and roasted onions.

To me it seems the other way around actually! Since you don’t cook in big batch, just throw toppings in there and it cooks fast due to small portions, then you can probably eat out of those pans instead of using plates..? I also hate cooking for the same reason, but this seems more doable and reminds me of my air fryer, which is such a saver
Yes, it’s pretty fast, because the little pans are non-stick usually, so they are very easy to clean. You have a normal plate, put stuff on a little pan, let it get hot for very few minutes, put the stuff on your plate and while eating the next pan is heating up . It’s perfect if everyone wants to customise their own food and in the end you’re way too full to do anything haha. A very New Year’s Eve / Christmas dinner thing to dining Germany
