My sister committed suicide on October 18th, 2019. Weeks before, she sent me this song and told me it helps her get through her toughest days. I listen to it every so often in her memory. I was listening to this song on the way to the hospital to because my fiancé had a complication with her pregnancy.. right after he said in the song "My God surrounds me, in the eye of the storm" I went around a sharp corner going about 80mph and lost control of my car then flipped and rolled my car... I somehow crawled out of the wreck with barely a few scratches. God really does remain in control and surrounded me in the eye of that storm.
This happened about 1 or 2 days ago, and my teacher passed out some soup and we all ate it! But, my best friend and I didn't just dive right into the soup, we prayed. My best friend is the reason why I started reading the Bible, listening to the most wonderful Christian music, why I went to a Christian Camp and started to not get stressed. THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING!! Looking forward of getting Baptized!! LOVE YOU LORD!!

We were hit by a tornado today. As my roof lifted and my house cracked around me, I held on to my mother and dogs and I played this song. It seemed fitting at the time. After a few minets the winds calmed down and we were all safe. Praise God!

I can fell your pain I just lost my best friend/grandma to cancer in October , and a few years before I would have killed my sister (not by blood) if I hadn't told my mom what she was doing to herself. The pain never goes away, it comes and gose but it will ease with time. Stay strong!
I really like both versions of this song, but this version especially hits home. My grandma (mom's mom) was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and was told she had an estimated 6 months left. If anyone reading this could keep her and everyone she knows if our prayers I would appreciate it. For healing if it's God's will, but most importantly that she will rededicate her life to Christ and others will come to know Him because of this (especially her husband/my step grandpa).
A good friend of min, Tony Leger passed away three days ago. Before he died I went and talked with him about GOD. He thought you only need to be a good person to get to heaven. I tried to tell him that's not good enough and that he needed Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour. He said he'd think about it. He passed before I could talk to him again. I can only pray that he came to know Jesus in his last moments. I've been crying and have had no sleep since he passed. I can only rely on GOD to get me through this storm of grief. My heart truly goes out to all of you who've ever lost a loved one. Tony my friend I pray and hope to see you again some day. Me and everyone else miss you terribly man.
You were a good friend and shared your faith. You never know what he did in those moments you were not there but your words were. Its very possible before your friend crossed that God in His mercy gave your friend a moment to say Yes to Jesus. God wanted your friend saved more than you did. God Bless and be at peace.

I can fell your pain I just lost my best friend/grandma to cancer in October , and a few years before I would have killed my sister (not by blood) if I hadn't told my mom what she was doing to herself. The pain never goes away, it comes and gose but it will ease with time. Stay strong!

I really like both versions of this song, but this version especially hits home. My grandma (mom's mom) was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and was told she had an estimated 6 months left. If anyone reading this could keep her and everyone she knows if our prayers I would appreciate it. For healing if it's God's will, but most importantly that she will rededicate her life to Christ and others will come to know Him because of this (especially her husband/my step grandpa).

A good friend of min, Tony Leger passed away three days ago. Before he died I went and talked with him about GOD. He thought you only need to be a good person to get to heaven. I tried to tell him that's not good enough and that he needed Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour. He said he'd think about it. He passed before I could talk to him again. I can only pray that he came to know Jesus in his last moments. I've been crying and have had no sleep since he passed. I can only rely on GOD to get me through this storm of grief. My heart truly goes out to all of you who've ever lost a loved one. Tony my friend I pray and hope to see you again some day. Me and everyone else miss you terribly man.
You were a good friend and shared your faith. You never know what he did in those moments you were not there but your words were. Its very possible before your friend crossed that God in His mercy gave your friend a moment to say Yes to Jesus. God wanted your friend saved more than you did. God Bless and be at peace.
