- GTA 5 10 year anniversary. Have you ever wondered "how old is GTA 5" or "when did GTA 5 come out?", well it was 10 years ago. In this video I take you through 10 years of GTA 5 and GTA Online history from PS3 and Xbox 360, through PS4, Xbox One & PC and even onto PS5 & Xbox Series X/S. This includes every GTA 5 Update, events that have taken place in GTA Online and even some GTA 5 Glitches (possibly a money glitch you've maybe done in the past). GTA V is now 10 years old with GTA Online almost there too, Rockstar has celebrated the 10 year anniversary with a GTA 5 Online update. I hope you enjoyed this "GTA 5 10 year anniversary" video. 10 years spent playing this game ever since it was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 the amount of hours I put into this game during that day of release I do understand why a lot of people are disappointed and it's so sad to see of what Rockstar has become
My 10 year journey is very rich and meaningful to me. Done everything from myself and went from rags to riches, meeting and befriending many many people along the way. Motorcycle clubs and the car scene. Everything is really just so irreplaceable. Collectively WE need gta 6 more then ever to forget about the problems in the world and go back to having fun again enjoying the game

Been playing for the whole decade, but peak enjoyment was following all of ObeseGiraffe’s glitches and getting to enjoy more toys in the game vs. grinding for pennies!

Obese Giraffe has unironically made GTA Online such a better experience for so many of us over the years. He's kept our money up without us having to quit school/work to grind for it.
10 years of this game is absolutely nutty, I remember rushing home from school after picking up my pre-order on the 360... and to think a decade later I would be reluctantly picking up the game on Steam to play story mode yet again!
I largely avoided GTAO from 2014-2019 because the constant grind felt like way too much. Then I stumbled across your channel when the Lester glitch was circulating, and that essentially started me off playing GTAO and enjoying it. Following the Lester glitch, I kept up to date with all of your videos to keep making more money, you kept me stacked through about three money wipes and a platform move from Xbox to Playstation and it allowed me to get so much more out of the game I'd already been playing for years.
So I wanna personally thank you for the frequent, easy to follow and straight to the point money glitch videos from those days! It really was a breath of fresh air back then considering how crazy the clickbait game has been for GTA content since ~2016

Excellent work on this one bro, it covered the history very well. I started playing online around 2019 when the casino came out, I previously played Story Mode but just never ventured on to online.

I actually didn’t play GTA Online in the beginning either, I got GTA 5 the day it came out and played through the story but didn’t get into Online much until about a year later
so many memories abusing the old money glitches with a friend. the classic story mode to online car glitch and then store any vehicle in your garage. good times. i have a photo where my friend gave me his console while he was on holiday so i could do money glitches for both of us while he was gone. im sad rockstar patch all of the good glitches though, all of the launch glitches etc
also i love how rockstar added all those removed vehicles to GTA+ but even though pc players dont have GTA+ available they still removed all the vehicles. now theyre all impossible to get if theyre cars you cant store off the street or if you didnt own them already
I remember those glitches very clearly, I can remember one where you parked the car you wanted from story mode outside the strip club and it would spawn into an online session

Started playing 6 months after release on ps3 for years, then I got the ps4 version in 2017 for years still play the ps4 version
I started playing GTA5 in October 2015 on PS3 and I ended playing in 2021 on PS4. I miss the old times!

Bought it on release day which was also my birthday. Got it on ps4 but never really got into online. But recently started watching Failrace. And I've not got it on ps5, and started online from level 1. And I'm completely addicted. What a game. Still so enjoyable 10 years on.
It’s only been about 5 years for me but the 95 days I spent were worth it. Loved each community I landed myself into and respect the fuck out of every glitch there is.
Too bad it got fucked by R* I don’t think I’ll ever go back to it now- they ruined it with the last two DLC’s. I might get into FiveM but it feels weird not having my limited items and hard worked for cars.
I’ll see you guys when another game like it comes, it was fun while it lasted! Let’s hope the next game is actually good.

What I miss from GTAV was constantly & addictively waiting for an Obese Giraffe video to drop!
Although I had billions in my 2 bank accounts, owned every decent vehicle, too many luxury apartments, planes, yachts & every single business going, watching and duping vehicles over & over again was the thing I did the most.
Also to rerun heists & give money to friends online. I must have done the Pacific & Casino heist thousands of times!!

The beginning of the alien wars was one of the best times of my life, gta was the game I had always wanted it to be for once

Honestly in those 10 years I've played this with friends making so many memories and all the progress we made to together almost don't want GTA 6 😢 GTA 5 was our playground growing up and I'm not sure if I'm ready to let go yet 😭
You forgot to mention HSW and how we still don't have it on PC...
But great vid still I was meant to be sleeping over 30 min ago but this was well worth it. If it wasn't for randomly finding your first SP2MP video I would have never played again after quitting in 2015, now I still play despite having left that kind of easy GTA life in the dust along the PS4. So I thank you way more than I thank R☆

I know a lot of people cry about gta 6 ….. but I could play 5 for another 10 years … still a solid game and still hanging out with the guys making cars fits or doing some PvP …. I hope they never shut the servers down

The first night GTA V Online was available my friend and I were playing the intro at the same time.
As soon as he finished the race with Lamar, all of a sudden I get a notification that (for I’m assuming only a couple minutes) he had the world record time for that mission 😂
It was so funny as he didn’t even know, yet I was given a notification.
“Ethan! You just set the record for that!” - “What?” - “It says you have the world record for that mission!” - “WHAT!?”

As a new player that started in 2023, I love the game. Hugely immersive. The problem I noticed in the first 10 minutes of play that sticks out like a sore thumb is the malicious modding in online. I pray modding is not allowed in gta6.

Truly a dying game
The finance and felony update, Open wheel update and LS tuner update are hands down the best updates to have ever been put into the game. I have grinded over $160,000,000 in ceo grates all completely solo and I hold multiple world records in Open wheels.
