My deck is 3.0 miner, balloon, skelly, ice spirit, tesla, mini pekka, log and poison. Works great with defense if you can keep up with the pressure and it easily allows you to fill the bar up. Also, it fills every 15 elixir instead of 20

Monk reflects projectiles and all the minions attack with projectiles. It has nothing to do with range.
