A local Mumbai boy ,(19), dreams to become an actor in the city of dreams .As a series of ups and downs takes place in his path towards fulfilling his life long dream , he struggles through it all, unknown of his destiny and hope in his eyes.
The first film that i ever wrote and directed.
The City of Dreamers was shot in a period of 3 days with the help of a beautiful, hardworking team and a lot of jugaad!
It's a very personal film based on some real life incidences, some daily life situations, and a place jahan har mumbaikar ko sukoon milta hai.
With this film we hope to make you feel all sorts of emotions , from Happiness, to a bit of Sadness and a lot of Hope :)
I came to london in 2021 to pursue my Master's in filmmaking. It's been more than a year but my heart is still in Mumbai. Like they say " You can take the boy out of Bombay but you can't take Bombay out of the boy."
It's just a beginning. There's a lot more to learn and a whole lot to understand!
