Lawyer speaking here. GRV emphasizing on opening books of Lagos is a revolutionary idea in Lagos State Policy. We have the Freedom of Information Act, 2011. It's a Federal Law that gives citizens right to ask for budget breakdown of govt agencies. Lagos State has continued to oppose it's implementation in Lagos. And I tell you, no one in this current government will want that.

@ Bioju, GRV is very transparent and he is the best candidate for Lagos Governorship election. A new Nigeria needs people with excellent track record that doesn't involve thuggery. People in power in Nigeria over the years has been suppressing the citizens of Nigeria. People are cheated and many cannot afford good water, food, accommodation etc. With GRV, Lagos will be better. It will be good if all the past governors, senators, etc retire and do not get re-elected so Nigeria can experience transparency and enjoy a good governance.

You know what I perceive in GRV, he is a man with respect for humanity. He tries not to tarnish the image of anyway or the existing work of anyone. He understands that coming into power isn't a competition of I would do more than you did. Rather I would build on what is on ground, look at ways to achieve things you were unable to achieve and give you a better life.
Yes power can make anyone change, he did not dispute that rather he says he will create an avenue for checks and balances should he start to derail from his manifesto so that he can be called to order.

I love GRV’s ideas. He sounds like someone that sat down to really think about practical solutions to the problems in Lagos (using examples of similar densely populated commercial cities in other countries); that’s really visionary tbh
I really truly hope you win GRV; I also hope you see this:
There are inherent limitations that may not make these lofty ideas sail in the first 4 years even 8 years if you make it; except the change is uniform (which is why I loved that you highlighted involving grassroots leadership; I think that is spot on) & even at that it will take a painstaking process.
In subsequent communications, I think you should try to manage expectations; we won’t fix age long problems in 4 years but definitely there will be results; i know there will be; you communicate like there will be. Please manage expectations!
May the odds be in your favor!
May our chance at having a really sound governor not be jeopardized!
    Really rooting for you!

Once you have the data of all your residents, then you can map out a GP logistics to ensure that every resident is within 10 walk of a GP doctor. If there is no doctor/GP in the area, you give incentive to establish GPs. GPS provide primary health care.

@GRV, on the issues of the tankers and trailers around the ports, you need to partner with your neighbour Ogun State. Build a massive inland port in Ogere Ogun State along the lagos to ibadan express way. Them build rail from apapa ports to the inland ports. There will no longer be clearing at lagos. All containers will go straight to the inland port and it will be cleared there and disbursed. Lagos does not have the land. But your neighbour Ogun State has abundant land. Take advantage of that and make your State better

I love the fact that he has his mind on public participation. Most politicians do what they think people want, but they refuse to involve them in decision making.
Also, Mr., Architect, remember you are not a planner, you are an architect, you need to work with and empower professional planners, you can't do it alone.
In addition, you need to do deeper research to really understand some root cause of the problems in Lagos. Many of the reoccurring issues we have in Nigeria are due to the fact problems are usually tackled from the head and branches and not from the root. And you keep seeing the reoccurring problems that each government coming in would have to be dealing with for their whole of 8years in office. Please invest in Research that could help identify the root cause of these problems. It makes decision making easier and helps to come up with sustainable solutions.
    All the best.

Yes. very important. Most of the time all the ideas does not get to the grassroot, because their language is not spoken, during electioneering and campaigns. Again, this should be seriously taken into consideration. Thank you.

He is a brilliant young man who truly loves Nigeria and her people. If we give him the chance, he will improve the lives of Lagosians. A lot of people in diaspora don't want to return because of the hardship. But he returned and wanted to do practical things to make the masses useful to themselves. Please vote for him. LP all the way. I wish him all the best. God bless and keep him. A visionary young fellow.

Also, he went to MIT which is the number #1 engineering school in the USA with 4% acceptance rate, meaning it’s very difficult to enter the school. You must have first-class honors to enter and maintain first-class honors before you can graduate. He’s definitely very brilliant! 😊 But it’s up to Lagos how they want to vote. 🤷‍♀️
