- Here's another train spotting video at Stadium-Chinatown Station.
Stadium-Chinatown is the station on the Expo line that opened in 1986. This station has connections to Rogers Arena, and BC Place, as well as the historic Chinatown. This station is the first Downtown station before it will go under the Dunsmuir tunnel in the heart of Downtown Vancouver.
I don't remember any 60 foot buses on the 403 lol
I see a four car Mark I from 15:32-15:37. I am positive all Mark I trains came in sets of six cars by the time the Evergreen Extension rolled around. Maybe it was NIS.
there isn't enough pairs of Mark 1s to make ALL mark 1s 6 car long, so one train must be 4 cars
Plurals don't have apostrophes unless possessive...SKYTRAINS...
what stadium does this refer to?
martin theiss The stadium refers to the 2 stadiums close by: Rogers Arena and BC Place.
What is the purpose of the third platform?
It was used at the time of Expo 86 for the monorail for a few years. Now its mostly used as a siding or special events.
