Anyone else think about how one half of the pizza was a light yellow color and the other half being a dark brown color? The same colors as Takumi and Izami's hairs. I think they did that intentionally so that the food would reassemble the Aldini brothers, since they're two halves of a perfect team.
It wouldn't taste good without Eizan's dish first though. You need dem artichokes first to change your taste buds. So you'd have to get the full 3 course meal.

Apparently, the key to Aldini’s cheese pizza is using the four cheeses with the exact right amount of each. I don’t think that takes nearly as much skill as what Tadokoro did, who still lost to the third seat.
Yeah, so? The amount of technique used in Tsukasa's dish was waaaaaaay less than Kuga's, but he paired his ingredients so damn perfectly that Kuga stood no chance. Putting aside the fact that Eizan didn't have a dish nearly as good as Momo, his strategy was to serve a dish that could destroy the flavours in Takumi's. He literally created a restaurant menu on the fly, deciding to use Eizan's dish to enhance his Shigure ni and his Shigure ni to enhance his Quattro Formaggi. It's NOT easy xD Also, as an Italian, I can assure Quattro Formaggi is so common but so easy to mess up. If the judges say it's PERFECT than props to Takumi. That's not easy. xD So, in the end, this show isn't only about who knows more techniques with fancy names. It's about who is the best chef. As a whole. And Takumi, sorry for Megumi, is miles ahead of her. Hope I clarified your doubts ^^

However, it seems that Megumi has more room for potential since she started out with an amateur’s cooking skills ~ the writer decided to kill off what little moment she has to shine by pitching her up against an extremely formidable opponent whom she was bound to lose to (partially due to the fact that she did not show any vast improvement yet). What Megumi fabricated for her dessert was no mere task, which could be equated to the level of skill required to make Aldini’s pizza or higher. Her use of apples was profoundly innovative and even got a electrifying reaction from the judges, which earned her the third seat’s respect (which she is shown to never give). Again, this is completely my own opinion ;)

I am terribly sad to say so, but after this last arc Food Wars stopped caring about most of the characters. The authors decided to concentrate on few of them and completely abandoned others. Again, we were talking about this arc, the comment was about Megumi losing while Takumi wins NOW, not later. I have no doubt what Megumi did was amazing. She scared Momo. But in the end, as the judges said, her pairing of the ingredients was extremely innovative, but not nearly as good and refined as Momo's and Takumi's. We know there is a ranking after this arc. It's pretty self explainatory ^^ I only wanted to state Takumi's dish was not in any way simple and what he did outside his dish was even more incredible. Thanks for the discussion, man. Actually I believe he made a modified calzone. Four cheese calzones are common in the states but he chose cheeses that don’t overpower each other instead strengthening each cheese. It’s a rare ability to have to find ingredients that do not clash at all.

Jennifer Isaacs the manga author has a personal food consultant to help with writing about these foods. So this anime has a great depth of research done and is quite accurate to most food related things for every single dish. I’m not sure about the environments and etc, but it seems believable.
Check out CHEFPK's channel. He made some dishes from the show with his own twist to make it work in real life (like the transforming rice and the mapo tofu), also he reacted to every single episode while describing how good the dishes actually are

The other problem is that Eizan keeps 'cheating' to win and never took Soma or in this case, Takumi seriously. That was his downfall.
