I was a huge gamer as a kid in the late 90's/early 2000's but then I fell off for most of the ps3/ps4 generation. I got back into gaming after a break up and needed an escape. That was at the tail end of the ps4 days in late 2019. Since then, I've logged almost 20 plats and they are all mostly single player experiences and oh my have games gotten better over the years. The stories being told in this medium is off the charts. So engaging and way better than wasting your time on social media. My top 3 are TLOU, Ghostwire Tokyo and Returnal all at about 200 hours.
I think a lot of our higher playtimes in these single player games stem from trophy hunting. I remember during the PS3 era I platinumed a lot of games simply cos I was younger, and just started working and didn't have a lot of money for games so I ended up playing each game I bought to death. Since I stopped caring about trophies around 2019 I noticed all my game times since then are much more realistic.

Currently playing cities skylines on PC once again, doing a final city before the C:S2. The updates over the years were truly good and love that each new dlc also included stuff for free, you easily sink 100+ hours in a single city if you want too do the detail work. Also mods on PC are so nice, especially custom maps and some QoL stuff improve a lot.
11:54 I feel this so much. I recently platinum'd Resogun, but the overall % is sitting at 64% because the DLC trophies are borderline impossible. I'm fairly sure some are actually unobtainable in 2023 due to serves being shut down. Oof. Love your videos, keep it up.
The Nathan drake collection still looks soo good on the ps5. Not to mention the legacy of thrives looking like a native ps5 game. Idk how naughty dog does it🔥
@@HipRapBlack7 I know a lot of people dismiss it as a boring delivery/walking simulator. But there is just so much more to it. Planing your route, managing your cargo, managing and upgrading your tools and equipment, fighting enemies, avoiding enemies, rebuilding the world and unfolding the bonkers plot. Just to name a few things. It's truly something special and unique imo. It's basically a science fiction hiking simulator (only until you develop vehicles and roads) combined with a post-apocalyptic and modern version of the classic game called Paperboy. It's certainly not for anyone but I think it's one of those games you either hate or love. I personally couldn't put it down.
@@Embrace_the_darkness all that and it still didn't feel like a game - it felt like a large tech demo with no soul. Artificially injecting "soul" with actors and a soundtrack doesn't count because the game play, game systems, literally everything about that game is soulless and trite.
This is a very interesting topic, I never really thought about what my most played games were on the PS4 gen. But I checked and I'm both surprised and not surprised that my top played game was FFXV. Played it on launch, played all the DLC's, played the multiplayer mode, and replayed all of it with the Royal edition. So yeah, I clocked in some hours.

I guess building settlements, going on stealth missions and driving around Los Santos takes up more time lol.
I have 202 hours for my Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, got all the trophies. Most of that time was definitely spent going thru each game on brutal mode like you said, it took me quite a few tries in some parts of the game.
Most impressive, I’ve always wanted to go back and complete the first game on Brutal and try to get the platinum, it’d be pretty awesome to earn the very first platinum trophy ever. Any advice? Are there any superior strategies?

Think the most I have ever put into a a game is 200 hours for Persona 5 Royal during the pandemic, these days I usually clock up under 100 hours on most other games. XB3 on switch being the exception. I only play SP though so I can imagine it would be a lot more if I did play MP.
Most time I ever spent on a non-MMO was over 300 hours in Trails of Cold Steel 4. It's a long game plus I got addicted to the Puyo Puyo style mini game. And considering each game in that series is at least 80 hours long, I spent well north of 600 hours on the series

I think my top played, are Monster Hunter World: Iceborne at around 1200 hrs and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak at around 800, might have a problem :') @MysticRyan, I feel the Bloodborne issue will be times you've left the game open at the main menu, without loading your save. Might not seem like much, but over time that adds up a ton.
hey dude, I know this is a personal question but comparing your hair at 1:46 to now, did you get a transplant? as a fellow MPB non-enjoyer, I am curious!
My top 3 is Currently: 1.CoD Black Ops 3 - 905 hours(I havent even played the campaign for that game so no Platinum yet. I have all multiplayer and zombies trophies including DLC.) 2.CoD Black Ops 4 - 794 hours currently 90/104 trophies obtained. 3.GTA 5 PS4 version 693 hours. Have the Platinum trophy and most DLC trophies too. As for PS3, I had over 40 days of playtime on CoD MW3's multiplayer mode, so when you add the campaign and spec ops playtime required to get the Platinum and all DLC trophies, probably close to(or over) 50 days played.
My most played game is Deathloop I absolutely loved that game. I played it for 150 hrs My second most played is knockout city it was a great experience, and I put about 120 to 130 hrs into it.
Those i know : 1. Dreams (650 hours) 2. Deep rock galactic (400 hours) 3. The last of us remastered (280 hours) 4. Hitman 1,2,3 (210 hours) 5. Red dead redemption 2 (205 hours) 6. Star wars battlefront 2 (180 hours( 7. Sky children of the light (170 hours) 8. Horizon forbidden west (105 hours) I dont know more and dont have my ps5 infront or me right now. And Dreams is mostly because i've been making music in it for a long time. Great video
If I had to guess the games I've put most time into during the PS4/XB1 gen it'd probably be something like: Skyrim, Fallout 4, Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen, Dark Souls 3, State of Decay 2. The funny thing is looking at the 360/PS3 gen, Skyrim and DD would show up on that list as well.
My most played is GTA V 11000 hours. 9000 ish on PS4 version and 2000 on PS5 version.... I frigging love that game. I have purchased 9 versions of that game, split between PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox and XBOX Series X, Digital and Physical copies. Physical to ACTUALLY hold the game and digital so I don't have to get my lazy but up to change games.
I missed half the ps3 and all the ps4 generations due to grown up life But the past year I've played through over 60 ps3 titles and about 30 ps4 titles getting to level 222 in trophies It's been a great trip
Considering Ryan WORK via his gaming, my hours make me ashamed on some games. I’ll try to think that Ryan plays many games in order to not feel like I have a problem 🤣
My most played PS4/PS5 Games: 1. Multiversus (300+ Hours) I played so much getting filling out every pass and getting free costumes or characters 2. Lego Starwars the skywalker saga (210+ Hours) I was never expecting this...The platinum just took me that long 3. NEO: The world ends with you (105+ Hours) If you know me this is no surprise, one of my favorite games of all time 4. Soulcalibur 6 (90+ Hours) Played the single player mode three times for the platinum and played a fair bit of ranked during the pandemic 5.Kingdom Hearts 3 (90+ Hours) No where near my favorite in the series but I did play the game twice with all the remind content
I'm on Xbox/PC but still love watching your videos and I have over 2000 hours in GTA 5/Online, over 250 in Cyberpunk and most likely over 3000 in Minecraft.. idk exactly how many in Minecraft because I played it on PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC so I can't really see how many hours I have in total
Since I've had the PS5 for over 2 years now, my #1 game in hours is Horizon FW at 116 hours, followed by Zero Dawn at about 100. After that it drops to Spider-Man at 47, then Borderlands 3 at 39, Gotham Knights at 35... and the rest of my games under 30, with most averaging around 15 or so. I like to dip my hands in many different games, and I still have alot unfinished.
People mock the PS3 version of Skyrim now but back then no one cared. I play Skyrim modded on a 4080 today and have put over 1000 hours into the game over alll versions, truly one of my favorite games of all time. But honestly, the best times I had with the game were with the original on ps3 in 2011.
I used ps3 right up until 2017. I basically had no home console until around 2018 when I got my ps4 and it was only 2 years later when I replaced it with a PC. Basically my psn has barely any hours clocked on it with the sims at around 500 hours, minecraft at 340, cities skylines with 100 and fortnite with around 50. The hours drop off a cliff after fortnite
Ryan I really enjoyed this video! Come November it will mark my first year of ownership for my PS5 and many of the titles of which are PS4 games that I've been playing. I'm really glad that the PS5 allows you to play PS4 games and almost in a way it mirrors the PS2 that allowed you to play the PS1 games. I never owned a PS3 but I'm real glad there is some great PS3 games that were remastered like Uncharted to play on the PS5. I don't know if Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order counts since I purchased it from the PlayStation store because it also had the PS5 version option but that's what I've been focused on playing other then some other PS4 games that I also own both physical copies of and digitally. I just recently bought Bloodborne from Best Buy online and so it's interesting to learn how many hours you put into that game. I try to choose my games wisely and commit once I start playing a game because I do like to get them played but sometimes if a game ends up being a pain to fully complete well I realize that you don't want to waste too much time playing that game and move on to the next one. I also enjoy collecting the trophies and would like to get them all before playing another game but you can always go back to some games to obtain all them and complete 100% after you spent time getting some other games played.
I found a used ps4 disc of Jedi Fallen Oder in a bargain bin for $15 Canadian . It got the free ps5 upgrade which was a bonus . To digital download the same game is $58 from PS store . The disc vs digital question sure was answered .
@@Crashed131963oh wow. Well I bought the digital deluxe edition for $4.99 from the PS store when they had a sale for it. I was going to get the deluxe edition on disc but it didn't have the digital art book included on it.
i have 78 some what games on my psn account, and its always on my mind when i think about getting another ps4, i have nearly 3k in games i have just sitting on the table
Hey Ryan just saying that Held Every Weapon and Accessory trophy took me longer than beating the game and all the other trophies combined probably lol, don’t forget you have to upgrade most of them to there final tier with the monster components
I feel like it’s still a lot of time that you’ve invested! I personally never have been able to spend more than 150 hrs of a singleplayer game. My highest count is from fortnite at 500 hrs, but after I decided to stop playing around 2018. Singleplayer highest is red dead 2 at 150
Rookie numbers I'm 42 with a full time job. Though the pandemic did help Fallout 4 447 hrs Red dead 2 398 hrs Witcher 3 368 hrs Dying light 287 hrs No man's sky 259 hrs Skyrim 252 hrs XCOM 2 233 hrs Kingdom new lands 167 hrs Persona 5 167 hrs Darkest dungeon 159 hrs..
For me: Mortal Kombat X - 165 Hours Resident Evil Revelations 2 - 164 Hours Everybody’s Golf - 142 Hours Destruction AllStars - 107 Hours Rise of the Tomb Raider - 102 Hours The Sims 4 - 98 Hours Marvel’s Avengers - 92 Hours Ghost of Tsushima - 88 Hours Final Fantasy VII Remake - 87 Hours Mortal Kombat 11 - 86 Hours I’m shocked at how long I played RER2 but also not surprised 😂
I know that PSN name change affects some stuff on bloodborne like if you bought the dlc before name change it disappears afterwards? Something like that... maybe it might have double your hours played for whatever reason?

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (1260 Hours)
Call of Duty: Warzone 1 (1023 Hours)
Call of Duty: WWII (758 Hours
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (553 Hours)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered (493 Hours)
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (291 Hours)
and Call of Duty: Ghosts (219 Hours)
Clearly some of these have more hours with the ps5 versions combined but on the PS4 versions this is what I got lol
how do you get that's much play time on shooters
@@timelymirror7826 Its what I enjoy playing lol
I think my top played, are Monster Hunter World: Iceborne at around 1200 hrs and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak at around 800, might have a problem :')
@MysticRyan, I feel the Bloodborne issue will be times you've left the game open at the main menu, without loading your save. Might not seem like much, but over time that adds up a ton.
hey dude, I know this is a personal question but comparing your hair at 1:46 to now, did you get a transplant? as a fellow MPB non-enjoyer, I am curious!
Another awesome video dude thanks for sharing
Ryan Still My Best Playstation RUclipsrs favorite😁
I took my time with Persona 5 (Royal specifically) and it was so worth it. Such an amazing game
I put 950+ hours into fortnite on ps4 before moving over to pc for that game and probably putting in another 300+hours into it
Me with 2000 hours in both GTA 5 and Fortnite:
Ah persona 5... What a game. Can't believe it's been 6 years already
Online trophies should always be a separate list. Servers don’t last forever.
My top 3 is Currently:
1.CoD Black Ops 3 - 905 hours(I havent even played the campaign for that game so no Platinum yet. I have all multiplayer and zombies trophies including DLC.)
2.CoD Black Ops 4 - 794 hours currently 90/104 trophies obtained.
My most played game is Deathloop
I absolutely loved that game. I played it for 150 hrs
My second most played is knockout city it was a great experience, and I put about 120 to 130 hrs into it.
And you are a kid
Man I loved KO city. Still sad it shut down
I'm kind of worried what Starfield is going to do to me...
Those i know :
1. Dreams (650 hours)
2. Deep rock galactic (400 hours)
3. The last of us remastered (280 hours)
4. Hitman 1,2,3 (210 hours)
5. Red dead redemption 2 (205 hours)
6. Star wars battlefront 2 (180 hours(
7. Sky children of the light (170 hours)
8. Horizon forbidden west (105 hours)
I dont know more and dont have my ps5 infront or me right now. And Dreams is mostly because i've been making music in it for a long time.
Great video
Great video ryan. No 10 for me is Fallout 4 at 241 hrs my No 1 is Black ops 4 at 1821 Most of my top ten list is cod tbh.
If that's like, the only game you play, that's not INSANE. But damn that's a LOT of time no matter what activity you're doing lol.
@@FreshKitty I play other games too. I'm just a huge fan of GTA games from GTA original onwards......
To each their own I guess, but 11000 hours in one video game sounds almost like addiction to me. That's 458 days of your life gone to one video game.
Damn, you a speedrunner or something? Is it mostly in online?
and I thought 1000-2000 hrs is a lot... those are rookie numbers for you.
How do you get your screen like that? Please show me
This was a cool look into your hours on PlayStation
I missed half the ps3 and all the ps4 generations due to grown up life But the past year I've played through over 60 ps3 titles and about 30 ps4 titles getting to level 222 in trophies
It's been a great trip
I am so excited for Cities Skylines 2. I really hope they don’t have they 100 hour trophy again though
Ha... only 100 ?!? I would think it would be much higher than that.
@@TheActs2021 nah brother, this trophy is horrible. I left my PlayStation on for 4 straight days after completing every other trophy
What product did you use to help regrow your hair? PS3 name change save file to now is good results.
I have an extensive collection...but lately stuck on Road to the Show for 100+ hrs...so easy to rack up the hrs
Thank God we can still play them on the PS5 🎮👑💙
You can submit a CCPA request to Sony in order to get a full picture of your playtime throughout your account's history. This includes PS3 game data.
Considering Ryan WORK via his gaming, my hours make me ashamed on some games.
I’ll try to think that Ryan plays many games in order to not feel like I have a problem 🤣
My most played PS4/PS5 Games:
1. Multiversus (300+ Hours)
I played so much getting filling out every pass and getting free costumes or characters
2. Lego Starwars the skywalker saga (210+ Hours)
I was never expecting this...The platinum just took me that long
3. NEO: The world ends with you (105+ Hours)
If you know me this is no surprise, one of my favorite games of all time
4. Soulcalibur 6 (90+ Hours)
Played the single player mode three times for the platinum and played a fair bit of ranked during the pandemic
5.Kingdom Hearts 3 (90+ Hours)
No where near my favorite in the series but I did play the game twice with all the remind content
Love your city names fellow Pkmn fan 😁 my top games are Overwatch 1 591hrs 😵, Dragon Quest 11 at 101hrs and FF15 at 100hrs.
Ahhh, this video is a reminder of some of the games in my collection I need to go back to and actually play, GTA, bloodborne, Skyrim.
Far & away it's Division 2 for me.. Right at 400hrs. Loved it.
amazing stuff . my no 1 most embarrassing title you can think of .. is H1Z1 on 405 hours .. idk why even 😅
I used ps3 right up until 2017.
100% on Returnal! You a good one for that! I gave up lol
Wish i gave killzone more of a chance back in 2014. Its definitely one franchise i want a reboot for
i have 78 some what games on my psn account, and its always on my mind when i think about getting another ps4, i have nearly 3k in games i have just sitting on the table
Hey Ryan just saying that Held Every Weapon and Accessory trophy took me longer than beating the game and all the other trophies combined probably lol, don’t forget you have to upgrade most of them to there final tier with the monster components
Just found your channel.. man why tf RUclips not recommended sonner ❤
Rookie numbers!!
I feel like it’s still a lot of time that you’ve invested! I personally never have been able to spend more than 150 hrs of a singleplayer game. My highest count is from fortnite at 500 hrs, but after I decided to stop playing around 2018. Singleplayer highest is red dead 2 at 150
I'm about yo begin Death Stranding so I hope yo reach a 100 hours there. Only time will tell. Good video Ryan.
100 hours in death stranding is like intentionally kicking yourself in the dick over and over
@@mehck-gk9yn it's OK yo be wrong
@@Axisjampa You'd know, you're a pro.
My most played is Ghost of Tsushima with 472 hours. It was my first platinum, and then the multiplayer came out.
Need a Metal Jesus/Mystic crossover sooooo bad!
My most hours played ps4 games are Horizon and Spiderman. Both single player games ironically 😂
My most played is Red Dead 2 at 376 hours, I have the platinum though lol. I played through the story three times and on the third got the platinum.
Damn 3 times
@@SeeThruSmoke What can I say lol? I love that game.
Cities skylines is amazing. Prefer it on PC but also looking forward to the second game that fixes a lot of issues.
That Returnal Platinum trophy gives me PTSD 🤣

Ghost of Tsushima - 88 Hours
Final Fantasy VII Remake - 87 Hours
Mortal Kombat 11 - 86 Hours
I’m shocked at how long I played RER2 but also not surprised 😂
What method did you use to get the taking the cannoli trophy on vice city
wow I really expected you would have a lot more hours played in your top 10
I'm hyped for cities skylines 2. Loved the first one so much.
I know that PSN name change affects some stuff on bloodborne like if you bought the dlc before name change it disappears afterwards? Something like that... maybe it might have double your hours played for whatever reason?
I spent nearly 400 hours on the last 3 ac games 👍👍👍
Why so serious Ryan ? This video is so sick 👍
I was not expecting your number 1 spot. I think my number 1 spot is MGS5 with over 300 hours.
Oh man I have to look at this stat myself for ps4 and ps5. Does this also show Vita?
