Love it been playing for 7 years and recently have had hand problems (never done hand warm ups in my life) and this has helped with the pain and discomfort I get while playing recently. Thanks! (also gave me some additional strength on bar chords which I've been struggling with recently. now they sound great again 😄)
Same, mate. Got cubital syndrome starting to develop. I wish I wouldn't neglect those warms up.
Thanks for making the video and coming on my podcast, Mark!
Agreed, thank you both!
Sublime my fingers felt loose and ready I was able to play my chord changes more comfortable and fast with less stress on both my hand , wrist and finger. thank you for the video .
this kind of exercises are very useful at the moment of play an instrument, thank you for share.
Very helpful . I will pass this video on to my students.many thanks.
very helpful and straightforward! my fingers are gliding on the fretboard now
Thanks for this important info. Musicians of all types should benefit!
Thank you!! Had my first jam session without handaches today!! Stay safe, and healthy, and doing the good that you do
How am I just finding this? Amazing video, concise information, great examples. Felt immediate flexibility and comfort in my wrist that has been deformed because of a bad wrist. Thank you. Thank you for allowing me to play my guitar with longevity in mind
i have so many hobbies that use my fingers and they get tense really easily and this is the first time I've found exercises that make them just feel like so much looser thank you sm
Thank you, this is just what I needed.
I have been dedicated to stretching after playing but I should do these before playing. Excellent!
I play table tennis, a lot of wrist and finger movement is required. This really helps
Once I was having a show in the winter. I put on a capsaicin cream on my right wrist to help me warm up. That was 2 hours before the show. Then we warmed up in the rehearsal room, but my right wrist and hands were cold as hell. We arrived to the place, but they didn't have great heating, no running hot water. I drank a hot tea, maybe it will help. But no. My right wrist and fingers were cold. We started playing the show with cold, stiff hands, I managed to go through it; the moment I left the stage my right wrist started burning from capsaicin cream . It was utter madness, the cream should have worked in 15 minutes. But apparently without blood flow it didn't do anything.
Great video!!!
Thank you very much❤The best warm up heart before!Great👌
Thanks for the awesome video
Thank you!!!
Love this video, I'm doing it every day! Can we shake our hands? Is it good? Thank you
Thx a lot. 👍
awesome valuable content. thanks!!
these do feel really nice thanks very much :D
Love this!!!
This is amazing!!! No time wasted explaining and talking, I do everyday now!! Could you do one for Exercises you could do to strengthen. Your hands and your muscles in your arm and wrist to play guitar. Please.
I enjoyed the podcast with Desi and I learnt a lot from it. I would have liked to see the video be complete for both hands then I can follow along instead I have to pause repeat on the other hand then step back the video because I loose a few secs. The 5 min warm-up on your video is only one hand so should this be a called a 7 or 8 min warmup? Nevertheless, it is good exercise thanks.
Thanks for posting

this seems very helpful thank you only wish it were slower, it's a little too fast to follow with. imo there's no need to skip parts on something like this. thank you.
You can slow down RUclips videos when you need to
@@williamchang8716 Thanks but my comment was made after doing that. I suppose maybe he skipped doing the exercises on the other hand, etc, to keep the video at 5mins.
Mainly saying it for anyone else that might want to know. I never thought you would reply lol
Thank you so much 🙏
