얼마 전 미야자키 토루 박사님이 한국을 찾아오셨어요.
야옹이 보호자 분들과 함께한 AIM 세미나에 참석도 하시고
티티와 루랑이를 만나 인사도 하고 가셨어요.
야옹이들을 위한 보조제를 만드는 일이나
치료제를 만드는 것이나
마음처럼 빠르게 움직여지지는 않지만
그래도 하나씩 조금씩 해나가고 있습니다.
늘 한결같이 응원해주시는 여러분 덕분에 해낼 수 있었던 일이예요.

Hey, it’s Claire!
Dr. Toru Miyazaki made a visit to Korea recently.
He came to attend a seminar on AIM and address cat owners, and to say hi to TT and LuLu!
We’re making slow, but steady progress on our supplements and medicine for cats. It may not be going as fast as we’d like, but I’m still glad we’re getting things done bit-by-bit.
Thanks to everyone who’s supported us until now! We couldn’t have done it without you all.
I hope you’ll stick with us in the future, too! Let’s celebrate the day when we can wish all our cats a happy 30th birthday!
박사님 언론아닌 세미나 많이가보셨을텐데 저렇게 적극적인 똥고양이들 처음봐서 엄청 당황하셨을거같아요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 인기스타 원장님 박사님 최고ㅜ약고는 여전히 알약 ㅋㅋㅋ 스프레이로 변경해주시죠 약친다-
세미나 참석했었습니다. 저는 제 고양이가 위태로워서 학술적, 실제 적용에만 꽂혀있었어요.
그런데 크집사님 보고 놀랐어요. 동영상 속 고양이에게 말하는 것과 동일한 톤과 방식으로 참석자들을 대해주셨어요.
이 프로젝트가 얼마나 많은 고양이들의 희망이자 불만일 수 있을지...질의응답들으며 크집사님 걱정이 들 정도였어요.
제가 저 장소에 있을때 제 곁에 있던 루이는 이제 떠나고 없지만,
남은 아이들의 정해진 미래인 신부전에 대한 슬픔을 덜어주시리라 기대하고 응원합니다.

What an amazing journey Claire has taken in front of our eyes. Been watching her for 6 years now. She went from silly cat mom cooking food for her 7 cats (DD walking away ), to making progress of curing a cat kidney disease that once was thought to be incurable. Keep up the good work!

@@bPriyalSocials aww no, no! DD is very well and still with Claire! In the early days of Kittysorous , Claire used to do voice overs for her cats. Momo was the wise old man, Lulu was the cute baby, TT was sly and bossy, Lala would only squeak, Coco was the clever genius with a computer mind, Chuchu only said one word - chu! and lovable DD was kind of goofy sounding.

그날 강연들은 사람 중 한명인데 강연 내용도 좋았고 질문에 항상 젠틀하게 좋은 질문이라면서 대답해주시는게 기억속에 오래 남네요. 아이의 투병을 몇일 몇달도 아닌 어쩌면 무지개다리를 건널때까지 케어해줘야하는 야옹이들과 집사님들에겐 힘이되고 위로가 되는 자리였습니다. 그날 끝나고 좀더 여운을 갖고 싶었는데 막차가 15분남아서 뛰어간게 아쉽네요ㅜㅜ
야옹이들이 30년동안 건강하게 살 수 있기를 화이팅!!

My cats are my family for sure! Kidney disease is so common in older cats, it would really be amazing to have a preventative treatment!
My goodness this is so exciting. I can’t wait for this to be released. Imagine a time where it will be more common for cats to be able to live for 25 or 30 years. It’s almost possible.

I lost my boy to kidney disease last year. It was a heartbreaking journey. My deepest gratitude to Claire and team for taking on this difficult challenge for the sake of cats. All your hard work is really showing and paying off. The love you put in is so obvious. Thank you for all that you do, Claire. Pets are family and they bring so much unconidtional love. I still miss my cat, Sam who passed away in 2012 and he was 22 or 23 yrs old. I have another cat shortly after Sam passed. Oscar, he looks like LuLu a bit and is a short haired tabby.
Lulu was wayyyy to cute sitting in btw you and Dr, Miyazaki, lol. He let his fear away after awhile and he got himself super comfortable, lol.

There are those even without cats who love them and wish the best for all the kitties in the world. Thank you Claire for all the hard work and love that you invest into this project! 몇 년 전에 크게 한번 다친 뒤로 잔잔 바리 병들도 자주 생기고 그렇다 보니 약들도 이것저것 많이 먹고 병원도 꽤 다니고 있는데 제 몸을 낫게 하기 위해 가는 거지만 이것도 엄청 스트레스더라고요🥲
냥이들은 사람보다도 훨씬 덩치가 작다 보니 더 스트레스였을 텐데 이걸 개선하고자 크집사님께서 보조제 개발에 발 벗고 나서주신 게 어찌나 대단하고 존경스럽던지🥺👍

안녕하세요 저는 일본 거주자이구요 두고양이의 집사입니다. 저희 냥이들은 신부전은 아니지만 예방을 위해 AIM 간식, 사료를 3개월 이상 먹고 있습니다. 처음부터 너무 잘 먹었구요.거부감 1도 못느꼈습니다. 크집사님의 대단한 여정과 많은 노력들에 박수를 보내며 고양이들을 귀하게 대하시는 언행과 태도를 잘 배우고 있습니다. 늘 감사합니다. ( 16마리 길고양이들에게도 밥을 주는데 저는 모든 길냥이들에게도 AIM사료를 섞여 먹이고 있답니다^^ 다 소중하니까요.) 힘내세요 화이팅!

I have a family member of a 4 year old kitten myself, and although she is still young, I am concerned about her health all the time.

미야자키 박사님의 말씀에 엄청 공감이 됐던게... 고양이 집사 분들께서는 자기 고양이 뿐만 아니라 다른 고양이들의 건강까지 진심으로 바라시더라구요 ㅇ_ㅇ 저는 여태껏 개나 다른 소동물들만 키우면서 내 동물만 위해봤지 진심으로 다른 동물의 건강까지 바래본 적은 없었단 말이죠.. 암튼 크집사님 영상을 보며 그런 감정들을 조금씩 알아가고, 또 채널을 지켜보는 다른 집사님들의 마음도 엿볼 수 있어 좋았어요 :)

정말 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 10살이상 고양이의 70%가 관절염을 앓는다는데 염증질환에도 효과가 있고 시도해볼 가치가 있다는 교수님의 답변에 힘을 얻었습니다.
우리가 노화로 알고있던 고양이 활동성 감소가 대부분 관절염으로 인한거라는걸 얼마전 알게되고 얼마나 아차싶던지...
오래 살려면 신장병을 신경써야하지만 건강히 살려면 관절염도 신경써야합니다. 두가지 다 효과가있는 aim치료제는 페니실린의 발견과 견주어도 고양이입장에서는 손색이 없을겁니다.
Glad to see the progress with the medicine! Re: LuLu... My cat Adam was neutered, but kept his appetite for the ladies for a year or so afterwards. Don't know how old LuLu is, but you might want to have his thyroid checked out in case it is cranking out too much of one hormone. That is just a guess.

일본에서 이미나온 분말형태의 보조제랑 다른건가요?
신장병 예방차원에서 AIM이 들어간 츄르를 먹였었는데 잘 안맞는지 구토를 하여 지금은 중단해서요.
제가 다니는 동물병원원장님은 AIM의 효과에 대해 굉장히 회의적이어서 일본쪽 학회에서는 반응이 별론가?라는 인상을 받았어요.
실험에 참가한 고양이들중 다수가 효과를 보았는데도 위험성에 대해 증명되지 않았다고 못 미더워하더군요. 그런 보수적인면도 작용해서 허가가 더딘거도 있어보여요.

I never had a pet. I'm allergic. I will be 78 in May. But you should see my apartment! Cat things everywhere! I found that I can pet (and pum pum) my neighbors' cats as long as I wash my hands right away. I want to help cats live longer very much. I see too many sad older people lose their beloved cats by outliving them. And vice versa. Just last year I was able to find a new home for two older cats because their butler had to go into assisted living and there are no pets allowed.
I just got another Kittisaurus tee shirt. (First was TT, now MoMo. Us elders do need respect.) I always wear my TT shirt to the hospital and doctors and tell people about her and you and the doctor. Prayers, Claire!

학생때 갑작스럽게 고양이를 키우게 되었는데(누가 준비도 없이 고양이를 데려다 놓아서 ) 어느날
그 고양이가 아파 병원도 더려갔는데 지금 상태선 별다른 치료방법이 없다고 했어요... 그래도 약은 먹이고 병원서 주사도 맞추고 ... 병원서 그 모습 보는것도 넘 속상하고 집에서 그 아픈 그 모습을 지켜보는게 넘 힘들었어요. 그러고도 몇 년을 버티다 하늘의 별이 되었는데 시간이 꽤 지난 지금까지도 생각하면 마음이 넘 아프고 미안해 져요ㅜㅜ

대학교 졸업후 직장생활을 하기 시작하고 고양이를 다시 키운지 어느덧 5년차 집사입니다. 몇년전에 1마리가 심장수치가 좀 안 좋다고 들어서 계속 콩팥전용 사료로 관리해주고 나니 얼마전에 건강검진땐 괜찮다고 하더라구요 근데 이번엔 이상없던 다른 고양이가 수치가 조금 안좋게 나왔어요ㅜㅜ
수의사 샘께서 많이 안 좋거나 한건 아니니 지금은 관리만 좀 잘 해주면 된다고 했는데
맘은 넘 속상 했어요....
사랑을 주고 관리를 해주며 건강고 아프지말 말고 자라라 이게 쉬운게 아니더라구요 ㅜㅜ
현재 고양이가 아프거나 또는 아프면 어쩌지 하며 걱정하시는 집사님들도 많이 있을것 같아요

I very much understand your point about the treatment of a cat, or any pet, with severe health issues being stressful and painful for both the cat and the owner.
A few years ago, I had to make the decision to euthanise my cat. She was not suffering from kidney disease, but had developed certain other health issues.
I won't go into specifics, but while there were treatments for each health issue, the combination of issues made treatment difficult. She also refused to accept some of the treatments, despite my attempts to introduce them gently. She would literally go hide under the bathtub when I opened the medicine drawer.
She was also absolutely terrified of going to the animal clinic, which we had to do every other month or so at this point. It was very stressful for her, and for me as well.
At one point, I noticed that her condition had worsened visibly over the last month. She was still a mostly happy cat, but I realised that I would not be able to provide her with stress free and comfortable living conditions for much longer.
That was when I called the clinic and made an appointment for euthanasia. I wanted her to end things before her condition turned into an emergency.
I grew up with cats, and at least three of them were kept alive while suffering pain and discomfort, having to receive emergency euthanasia, because my family couldn't make the decision before then. I didn't want my cat to go through the same thing.
Even so, it was one of the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make. I still think it was the right thing to do under the circumstances, but that doesn't make it less of a difficult decision.
Thank you to Claire, Dr Miyazaki and his team, and all of the other professionals and volunteers who are working on this project.

아픈것.자체가 사람이든 냥이든 힘들게 하죠. 근데 그 고통과 스트레스를 덜어줄 수 있다면 기간이 더 걸리더라도 그렇게.하고싶은게 집사들 마음일거라고 봅니다.
저는 랜선집사이지만 항상 아픈아이들.보면 맘이.쓰이는데 크집사님이 아주.큰일을 해주시네요~.정말 대단합디다. 👏
꾸준한 노력이.성과를 보게.될거라고 봅니다.
I love the work you are doing and you are showing amazing results in TT and the General. Hope the American Vets are working with this too or something like this.
I lost my beloved Max to early renal failure, and I don't wish any other cats to go through that. 😢
