My First Time in Bangkok - They Have Orange Coffee Here? 🇹🇭

- Bangkok is one of the most visited cities in the world and after 2 years of traveling I decided I should check it out and see if the hype is real.
In this video I decided to explore first he modern side of Bangkok around Siam Square. After that I took the BTS and MRT to reach the old town of Bangkok. I was amazed by the beauty!
Obviously Thailand is known for amazing street food so I decided to try some BBQ and Thai Omelet. Also my friend @EllisWR recommended me to try Orange Coffee so of course I did!

@@timtense Hi Tim. Thanks for your comments mate. Yes, I have been to Thailand twice, but the heat killed me. I found it very hard with the high temperatures. I do love Thai food and I have learned to handle the heat from the chillies. I noted in one of the comments posted by @cloudzero1547 that April is the hottest month in Thailand. I was there in late January some years ago, and I thought someone had led me straight off the plane in top a Crematorium. Heat is something I cannot handle. Anyhow mate, have a safe journey. Cheers 🏴

April is the hottest month in Thailand, and this year is even more hotter than usual because of the heatwave. Stay hydrated and avoid the sun, do like Thais, walk in the shade especially on the skywalks that are all over the city.

gotta appreciate that male staff’s honesty telling you that orange americano is not popular in Thailand even though you just got yours from him.
Thailand has got a very huge coffee culture here sometimes people want something new and exciting so they have like Americano Soda, Chocolate mint americano , Thai tea americano etc but at the end of the day, coffee is coffee.
Haha yeah, I heard it was very popular actually. You're right about the huge coffee culture. I see it everywhere! Luckily I'm quite a coffee addict so that works out nicely for me 😅

During April which is the hottest season in Thailand. You have to come between December and February when the weather is less hot and cooler.
Another public transport option is by boat.

Recommended boat trips on the Chao Phraya River There is an old city, temples, and shopping malls.There is an all day ticket.

I'm a cafe owner (but not in BKK) and I'm the one who like Orange coffee but it is good taste or not depends on coffee shop and the orange juice 😅
And I want to recommend you to try Coconut coffee! We have 2 kind of them :
1)coconut coffee : coffee with fresh coconut juice
2)coconut coffee latte : coffee +fresh coconut juice + milk + condensed milk
I hope you can try them before leaving Thailand haha

Bangkok is so hot in April so if you want to avoid hot weather. You should walk on the skywalk which connects the BTS to each malls. This is why Bangkok have many skywalk to connects place to place. Enjoy your trip in Bangkok Thailand🥰

You can also try coconut water (not coconut milk) with coffee or matcha. It’s also very good.

I'm a fan of Orange Coffee but I can say that most of Thai coffee people still prefer Americano or Latte. (and yes, with iced) But my favorite is Honey+Lemon+Cold brew and some cafe may add soda too.

Hi Tim , welcome to Thailand🎉 the right way to drink orange coffee. Is with straw., you suck the orange juice from the bottom and hold the straw up to cofee level so you will test sweet orange juice follow up with the bitter coffee in one shot

Tim, Bangkok population is also afraid of sun light that’s why we make skywalk link from mall to mall , every mall on M floor is the exit to Skywalk or to sky train (bts) also to cross the street we use skywalk also,

Yes something that I noticed as a westerner in Thailand is the fruit juice coffees, looks like it wouldnt taste good but its pretty good.

That’s that the right way to drink the orange coffee, you must use a straw! Dip at the bottom then pull up while drinking.
Oh yeah, I tried something similar before where I had to move the straw. I didn't think of that!
