- This film was made In 1991 as a video souvenir, allowing you to enjoy the park from your own living room. It differs from the magic kingdom video and replaces a touring family with Disney characters riding with fellow park attendees.
I wish they still do the Mainstreet Electrical parade. It was Beautiful, Amazing, Spectacular, and most of all, MAGICAL!

Fudge! I just can't watch a Disneyland video like this without ending up crying 😢 It strikes too many emotions and memories and I just don't want to grow up anymore I just want to relive those days over and over forever.
I feel you... I would watch this tape every year before we left for Disneyland, and I would get so excited!! Don't get me wrong, I still do get excited, but man, I want my childhood back!!! :(

Same here, for Walt Disney World. No matter how old I get the place is just pure magic. Smiles and laughter all around, not a political banner to be seen.

I busted up laughing when I saw Launchpad and then immediately thought "ogawd something terrible is about to happen to everyone on their 'rocket'..."

This was the year of my first ever Disney visit, and I bought this tape. The Ducktales team were big in the park at the time as part of Afternoon Avenue that was placed temporarily in Fantasyland.

when i was little i was terrified of the haunted mansion and when i would watch this video, i would turn down the volume and leave the room till it was over, i was a huge chicken then. then i finally got the guts to go on the haunted mansion a year ago, and now i love it! lol

I have NEVER in my life seen Launchpad McQuack walking around Disneyland. I WISH he would be there!
This is interesting to watch. Long before characters like Ariel, Belle, Aladdin, Rapunzel, Anna, Elsa, Tiana, Woody, Buzz, Stitch and Mr. Incredible would be populating the park.

Ah! The Haunted Mansion. Now there's something for Halloween! Which reminds me, I'll be preparing to make my versions called a Disney Halloween: Party at the Haunted Mansion. First Disneyland, then Disney World, Toyko Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris for Phantom Manor.

Disneyland Paris still has it, and it's awesome! It's also in French, but it's still the same footage.
I haven't been to Disneyland in 11 years, and I'm going in June. :D This is the amusement park I remember most, out of all the amusement parks I've been to since then.

Actually, it always was Pee Wee Herman who did his voice. In this video they sped it up slightly so it ends up sounding more like him.

When I was little, I visited Tokyo Disneyland a lot. and all the time there was electrical parade in night time I think.Still I think it is!

the only thing that got better are the fireworks. The projections in front of the castle make it that much better. If you haven't seen them from in front of the castle you are missing out
I just noticed that some clips from this video was used in that Disneyland Sing Along too.
I was just about to comment about how sad it is that people don't know such great characters being shown in these videos...
when did Disney actually take control of star wars then? I didn't think Disney would of had entitlement to Lucas merchandise till they bought it the other year.

It's in Disney World. I saw it in May- just as great as I remember! But they did update it a bit. Disney World is worth the visit too, if you care to see it again :)
They need to bring the electrical parade back to Disneyland where it belongs.

I notice that the dance at Tomorrowland dance wasn't included, you only saw a snap shot of Mickey holding Minnie. Was that deliberate? Or just the copy you have. Either way, thank you so much for uploading this!

I heard that the recent ones, at least the 2004-05 versions got so many complaints that there is now a sticker on the DVD with something like "Known as the Vacation Planning Video" and I think some people got refunds.
At least the lobby store at the DL Hotel plays the current video on a loop.

I might also do a fan-made Haunted Mansion movie (the one with Eddie Murphey) and add characters like Jack Skellington (Master Greasy), Maleficent (Madame Leota), and a few others.

@commentmutant i just looked on the star tours wiki page, and i saw that Rex won't be the pilot in the new star tours 2 :-( but luckily, it said that he'll make a cameo appearance, but i still would want him as the pilot. he was so funny! and peeWee herman is awesome! :-)

electrical parade is new in disneyworld, but it was originally in disneyland at 1991?!?!?!
