Seycara, thank you for bringing joy and calm into my day, not only with covers from some of my favorite artists, but also with your amazing songs. I’m glad that it seems you love entertaining people with your wonderful music and hope you keep doing so!
honestly inspiring, you really love music! can't wait to hear more of it, and maybe, just maybe, have a bit better of a sleep schedule next time; not like there's a huge rush rn. I played this album while I was staying at my grandmother's house to take care of her 2 months ago, before she leaves peacefully. She likes your album a lot, Seycara. She told me to find someone as beautiful and as cozy as your songs to live with me. Every time I listen to this album, all of my good memories with my grandmother lingers in my mind. I'm glad I chose to play your songs during her final moments. Thank you so much Seycara :)
I'm sorry for your loss and am incredibly grateful that my music accompanied you and your grandmother through those important moments. Hope you're doing okay.
Man, I'm not even the one who made this and I already feel flattered by this compliment 😭 An album being someone's grandparent's favourite is just rare to me, especially with someone who's not mainstream and is a newer face, since most grandparents aren't very open to new music especially unpopular ones
This entire album feels like a couple living out their dying moments together, with "embrace" being the final last moment of them together. What a nostalgic filled album filled with happiness, sadness, and yet pure bliss.
Dear Seycara, im the teenager with depression that once commented on one of earlier videos, saying how your music had made me shed a tear of happiness and hope, after a seemingly hopeless series of days spent dozing off. Around 3-4 months after that, my little secret finally gót to open with my family, and since then there's been a lot of change, so i thought i might as well update with you, to express some of my adoration to my favorite artist. I'm not fully recovered now, but after the event, i (reluctantly) promised with my mom to be different, because in her mind, i was being ignorant and was too negative and got myself into sickness. My family continued to live as if the event has never happened before, and i pretended to be reborn from that, forgetting everything and obey to bury every thoughts even deeper. But gladly i finally had a chance to live, the day i recognized my mental Illness, i decided to write a novel, and now im editing it alongside with writing the end of another one. School is still difficult to breath in, as i remember, but i have only one choice, it is, to keep moving forward, regardless of what i feel or think. Listening to your music, somehow called on the true me. Ily
So happy to hear you're doing better. As always, I'm glad my music can have a place in your life! Hoping things will only get brighter from here on for you

I admire Illusions of the heart for the storytelling. Without even reading the descriptions of the individual songs, I could make up an entire story that was eerily similar to what Seycara wanted viewers to envision.
The thing about this genre is that it's good for just about any mood you're feeling, whether you're happy, depressed, tired, relaxing, romantic, anxious, or even just trying to get work done with some background music. It's stuff like this that helps the world go round.
2:27 it's from the last ep of Orange I felt like I knew you [kakeru], but I really knew nothing about you at all. So I want to get to know you more. What you enjoy doing, what makes you happy... @Hari if you read manga, you should do that, though I'd say the anime remained pretty faithful to it, but ye. There were some things that felt kind of...ehhh imo esp since it deals with depression and suicide and I feel some parts could have been dealt with better, but it's def not bad.

Especially the song with the same title as the album was really beautiful, and will be something I remember a while forward. I also love how different the tracks in your album were, each seeming to try out something new without it seeming random and confusing. great great job, love it (I only have fairly limited musical education, so forgive me if some of my comments were ignorant, but these were the thoughts I had and wanted to share)
Wow, very well thought out and articulated; I really appreciate reading listener feedback like this that accurately highlights what I put into each track. You can help me reach more people out there by sharing; thank you so much!
YES Exactly. I guess I don't have to say it since you did. Lofi is forgettable for the most part, and you could attribute that to various various things. But this, I was blown away by it. And as you say, each track is trying to be something new. I definitely won't be able to stop playing this over and over now. Man, Seycara if you're reading this, you are on a great path for music. This was so innovative and well thought out. I feel like lofi now is hastily put together, but I can really feel the 100% you put into each second. I subscribed, and I'll be looking around now. I'm looking forward to it!!
I haven't listened to the whole thing but so far, this is by far the best lofi hip-hop album I've listened to. So much of the genre centralizes around one beat for an entire track-which obviously isn't bad, I think it's really interesting! This new "minimalist" vibe really helps encapsulate that vibe that makes lofi so beautiful. But on the other hand, to me at least, the repetition kinda makes the music kinda forgettable. (Which again, isn't bad, that's the appeal) but your album here is just, a full groove, with all sorts of timbres and full. on. jazz. Thank you! I love it so much, absolutely amazing job!
Thank you amaice, I'm so grateful to have listeners like yourself that can appreciate the unique parts of my work. If you can, please share so I can reach more people out there! :)
Doesn't most music these days have repetition and they are mostly like 4 mins long but still not forgettable. If there was no repetition then it would be forgettable, repetition is what crams it in your brain. I'm not sure if you listened to the whole thing yet(I've listened to this my 10th time, no joke), but it is more energetic at the beginning and gets more somber at the end. There is obviously a story behind this too, might be about heartbreak or thinking that you do love someone(illusions of the heart) when you actually dont. But I do agree with the rest of your nitpicks, you seem like you know more about music in technical terms so your opinion hold more weight than mine. I'd love to theorize what the story is, probably another time.
damn man. ive been looking for potsu alternatives, having listened all their songs on repeat to death. imo each of potsu's lo-fi jazz always has a unique rhythm to each of them, a flow that has a story; a prologue, climax and epilogue. thats what i loved the most about his tunes. the rest of the lo-fi music producers, despite being wildly famous on spotify with millions of listens per day, to me they sound extremely bland and they just loop the same tune for 1-2 minutes. i hate that boring unimaginative shit. im absolutely glad i found you. keep making these beautiful pieces man! i love all the stuff you put out and i appreciate the effort put into them! keep it up!
i can't help but find myself come back to this album every now and then, and i don't usually comment much but holy heck this album is criminally underrated. really hope to see more from this artist ^^
Finally set tine aside to listen to this fully, and I'm very satisfied! My favs were "Night Market" and "Illusions of the Heart" (this one and "Embrace" feels so bittersweet!). I'll come back to listen to them many times more!
I haven't ever said this, but this album changed my life. Not in that weird cringy cliche way, as if after listening to it i suddenly got everything i ever asked for. Actually quite the opposite. This album was one i listened to daily back when i used to be in a comunity that shaped me and made me become who i am. Sadly as all good things it ended, but this album reminds me how nice life was back then. I truly can't express how special this is to me, Seycara, a heartfelt thank you for this masterpiece. I can truly feel your words and emotions while writing this, which i rarely hear with other music, and being a classical elitist now, i still hold this in the highest regard. Love from Italy, Asriel
This is easily one of my favorite lofi albums I've ever listened to. The combination of jazz, lofi, and orchestral just works so well. Thank you youtube algorithm for recommending this to me one day a little under a year ago 🙏
Can't wait till this guy reaches 100k Subs, his music is amazing for Films, Chilling, Road trips and Edits. I'm so glad I found this channel when the new generation started so that I can experience these masterpieces
Still here in 2024 listening to this album again. It reminds me of a time where i got over hardship and moved forward. And maybe found love. And it cozy enough to hekp me keep moving forward.
I'm studyin for a test I got tomorrow and can I say it's rainin outside rn so I'm studyin in a perfect environment, with this playin and rain in the background I feel like I can do anything
I know my comment may be swept away and hidden, but i just want to express my extreme gratitude for your channel existing and this album as well. Quarantine really hit me hard (I'm sure as well with others) But I've been experiencing the most emotional strain and mental stress I've had in these past 19 years of living, causing me to cut connections with dear friends of mine. It's been rough, having to go through so much pain these past months and feeling all alone. I've become more self-deprecating and my self-esteem has plummeted to such a low, and my situation at home doesn't help either. But coming across your music has really helped me have some piece of mind amidst of all the chaos that is going (in both the real world and my own). It has made me feel, that even for a moment, that everything is okay and that a simple moment of breathing can give me some relaxation. I really am thankful Seycara, and I'm sure there are dozens of people like me who have so much appreciation for you and your channel. To whomever is reading this, I wish you well and I hope good things come your way
@@LargeBanana Dude, what the heck? How would you feel if you opened up about your life--something that can be hard to do--and someone said that to you? "What you do comes back to you."
I would love to be your friend. i'm not doing so great lately either, and i've seen how much good conversation can do for your mood and mind and stuff. let me know if that's something you're interested in, stranger !
It ends on the same theme that it begins on... Beautiful 💖(the names fit each other: the first song expresses the wish for a hug, the last one is the hug)
When I'd get sad I used to always try to fight the feeling, distract myself from it. Now I just embrace it. Some nights I just put on your music and cry. I'm not sure if this really helps me, but it does feel kinda good to let my feelings out.
I love when artists experiment with a different style. So much to learn from a different perspective. Hope you had fun making this Seycara, its beautiful.
I have been listening to this album daily, for a month. Love you and your compositions, Seycara; but this album in particular, is favorite, it expells a magnificent aura of nostalgia and happiness that touches my heart in such a painful yet beautiful way... I wish there were other artists just as talented as you.
I've always been the type of person that procrastes every time, getting work done without getting distracted I found was always hard for me until I just stumbled upon this randomly while procrastinating. Suddenly listening to your music just made it much easier for me study in general. I found I could suddenly focus more listening to your music and I was actually getting work done for once. So, a huge thanks from me to you. Thank you for creating this magical piece of a channel. Thank you for this blessed music.
Thank you for this; one of the highlights of the day is hearing how my music is useful to my listeners :) Help this album reach more listeners out there by sharing
I am very glad youtube recommended this to me instead of any of the channels that just steal from the original creator. Edit: Consider the album bought.
Ran into the first track of this album on spotify a year ago, then checked the rest of it. It is an one-way trip to happines for me, it's impossible not to regularly come back an listen to this incredibly relaxing collection of songs to study, do homework or even chill to it while cooking. Love all of them. Thanks for this :)
The artwork really compliments the beautiful vibe of this album! For once, everything was still in life and I felt like I could just sit back and breathe easy. Thank you for making me feel this way. I'm just waiting over here for more people to notice your work. The instrumentation and the flow of each song really compliments one another. Unlike most lofi/jazz hop artists, the songs here were memorable, and made me want to come back for more! Once again, thanks for the peace, and I hope you make it big someday! :)
man, I was extremely insecure about several thoughts that were out of place, but for some reason I ended up finding this playlist from a long time ago, and it gave me immense peace, god isso soo good,Best of luck to everyone who made this work of art :)
I don’t know why but something about this album just makes me feel better and gives me a warm feeling inside. I’m glad I found your music and the comfort it’s given me for the past year :>

Every time I see music, it reminds me that I cant do what the producers of these songs do. I get so emotionally conflicted because I feel so upset seeing this suff because I am not able to do this but I still love it, the efort & time it takes to do this and the creative ways it is created. As a year 9 student (currently) I always see this stuff knowing how simple and easy it is to make but I cant do it because of my limited software knowledge. But soon, after this quarantine and I can get to school to do music GCSE, ill soon hopefully become someone abit closer in the minds of others. Soon
Nows the best time to learn a DAW! (No pressure obviously) I've also taken the time to try to learn more about mixing and the works, it's slow progress but it's better than nothing.
Hopefully you can achieve your goals! However don't be discouraged once you start learning, I wouldn't exactly call this stuff "simple and easy to make".
DUUUDE, trust me, this is first lofi album that i hear complete, and i want to hear more, this is just beautyful, i can feel the dedication, hard work and time spended on this, as a musician lover and maker, i just can say: BEAUTYFUL, PLEASE CONTINUE DOING THIS, sooo gooood man
Seycara, pls don't stop making original music. You are doing it awesome! The music you make it's just charming. Don't let the fewer views than popular covers discourage you from making this!
This has got to be the best Lofi I've ever heard. Most of them seem generic to me, but this is simultaneously a banger and very relaxing, but doesn't make me lose focus when working on stuff like some other songs do. Thank you very much!
I dont think i've ever come across an entire album that has kept me so enthralled through every song. You are truly talented and this is so amazing! Absolute bliss to listen to this, and each song feels so safe and comfortable, yet is so complex and individual I cant help but keep playing through this.
This probably will be lost in the sea of comments before you can read this, but I really just wanted to thank you for all of the beautiful music you compose, Seycara. You put in so much love and dedication into your work and that’s something truly worth appreciating. While listening I can find a moment of relaxation and peace in the chaos all around me... and especially since there’s so much more chaos than before... it just seems that the universe has stacked everything against me... pulled a card out from my fragile pyramid... I don’t want to sound inconsiderate to others as they are fighting hard in their own battles... it’s just that my whole life seemly unraveled from the delicately wound ball I worked so hard to shape... long story short the pandemic pops up and quarantine starts then my ‘father’ is loses his job but not because of lay-offs and then I find out he is cheating on my mom... I’m so unsure about my families future as well as mine... and because of quarantine I’m stuck at home with nowhere to go and I’m drowning in all of this... but your music really helps me... thank you again, Seycara ❤️
Thank you Retro for sharing this; I'm grateful that you have found my work soothing in your difficult times. I sincerely hope things get better soon for you. Help this album reach more listeners out there by sharing
I haven't listened to it fully, but so far, counting stars made me tear up. It was so beautiful and I felt all kinds of happy emotions. Normally songs never really make me cry, but this. This was so beautifully done. I love this so much, thank you for posting. :)
I'm so glad I found your channel and your music! Nice blend between complexity and friendliness. Been feeling down lately thinking that my journey down the music composing lane just leads to nowhere, but your channel and your music give me a much needed lift. Thanks, Seycara!
I don't know how many times I've listened to "I wish you would come closer and hold me." I would have it on repeat throughout the day, eating, sleeping, I just love that song and every other song in this album. I still listen to most of the songs here on a weekly basis. Basically, this album was really good, and I hope the one that you are working on will be just as good, thank you Seycara
this new genre of music you have created is actually amazing, and im surprised how well lofi and orchestra work together. your first full length album and you're already killing it, keep up the amazing work seycara :)

@@Seycara true i never heard an album this good...

ITS FINALLY HEREEEE MY POPCORN IS READY
damn man. ive been looking for potsu alternatives, having listened all their songs on repeat to death. imo each of potsu's lo-fi jazz always has a unique rhythm to each of them, a flow that has a story; a prologue, climax and epilogue. thats what i loved the most about his tunes. the rest of the lo-fi music producers, despite being wildly famous on spotify with millions of listens per day, to me they sound extremely bland and they just loop the same tune for 1-2 minutes. i hate that boring unimaginative shit. im absolutely glad i found you. keep making these beautiful pieces man! i love all the stuff you put out and i appreciate the effort put into them! keep it up!
Always a pleasure to hear listeners identify the unique aspects of my music that I am the most proud of
so true
the differences are obvious
if "i wish you would come closer and hug me" isn't the greatest lofi song ever, then I don't know what is
i can't help but find myself come back to this album every now and then, and i don't usually comment much but holy heck this album is criminally underrated. really hope to see more from this artist ^^

I appreciate the love and care put into crafting these wonderful orchestral pieces.
I've heard a lot of music so far, but I've never heard of orchestral music made in this way. And I really like this. Good work.
This popped up on my recommendation page and I clicked on it.
I never regretted clicking on this video.

This is the type of music that is for stress relief, to sleep, to study, and just to listen to.
This has got to be the best Lofi I've ever heard. Most of them seem generic to me, but this is simultaneously a banger and very relaxing, but doesn't make me lose focus when working on stuff like some other songs do. Thank you very much!

@@Seycara Yeah I've already shared it to my friends, and they love it too! It must be contagious...
Really loved your foray into the LoFi world - you’ve nailed the essential beats of the genre, but also added your own orchestral spin. Excellent work.

a hint of beats with a spice of orchestral music 🖤
