That’s not your fault that crash. He was reacting to your moves which is not allowed. With him moving more than once then puts the blame 100% on him

It was the move back right that really caught me off guard. Just wasn't expecting it at all

The last lap incident was a racing incident but you can't move to block 3 times - defending driver has 2 moves, you still don't get to make contact tho, it was a racing incident but the defender moved at least once too much, you can't weave to close down the lane. You also can't hit people from behind. Both drivers have to do 15 push-ups.

Your not at fault buddy.. you can defend 1time and the line is to stay.. never you zigzagged for defending.. smart riders now to keep the defensive line ant that's inside.. on you part clean driving and keep that up buddy.. I followed you for that ✌

Thanks a lot. I was fairly sure I was in the right but as someone new to iRacing, I wasn't a 100% sure. I appreciate the feedback though! I hope you enjoy the video I'm releasing later today as well!

iRacing allows 2 defensive shifts on line. Agreed, the defender did like 3 or 4 but it's not 1.

You're at fault for the crash. You were behind and in control of your car. But he also should occur a penalty for his defensive driving. Blocking 3 times when you clearly had the extra speed due to the draft means you should of been in front for the corner or atleast side by side. The first contact is normal and happens. The 2nd contact which takes him out could of been avoided but also was very close to making it.
In the end I think you done the right thing because he now knows not to defend like that. He should of done a slight squeeze to force you far on the inside which makes you slow down way more which means he would of had more speed into the 2nd corner even though he wouldve then been on the inside. He likely would of been in front on the exit and with more speed.

Yeh, it was definitely a learning moment for me. Him moving back right in the braking zone really caught me off guard. I think i went left just as a reaction to try and not rear end him
