The lyrics hit really hard. Imagining how Jang Uk feels -
the pain from the wound that sword made as it pierced through his whole body still hurts, but at the same time, that wound is a tangible reminder...it makes him feel he's still connected to the best thing (Naksu/Mu-deok) that ever happened to him.

This song is probably one of the few OST's I've listened to out there.. that has it's lyrics almost 100% accurately related to the show it's from.. they perfectly describe painful experience, the continued pain, the present feeling and thought of the characters it has been written for. (Uk and Naksu/Buyeon)
Also the Lyrics of Tree.... as well very accurately represented Yul's experience in with his past and himself..

Lol not me having listened to this song for the nth time but never wanting to check the lyrics (cause I'm afraid it might break my heart even more) but now that I'm reading the lyrics with your reaction, I finally found out what the Blue Flower referred too. I didn't think the song would be truly related to the drama and I can't believe that it didn't click to me until that line 'Looking at the blue flowers that bloom again in your eyes' like it was literally describing the blue mark in 'Mudeok's' eyes shaped like a flower that only Jang Uk have seen them
