I think why she sing this olympic song is because she is half-korean/black american.Actually, korea has a only one ethnic group. So half-korean are difficult to live as korean in korea. So these day, goverment focus on half-korean. when south korean flag was up in opening ceremony, you can watch singing children who are half-korean. I think we must solve it.
I just love all the anthems that are written for games. I loved our "I Believe" for 2010. There was a beautiful one for the 2006 Asian games in Doha. It's done by a guy called Jackie Cheung (I think) - it's called "Together Now". Look it up, it's lovely.
I like this theme and its really good but I think Taeyang's Louder was better suited as theain theme, its just more upbeat and a pumped up song like eye of the tiger. Just my opinion though so it's cool if you disagree.
Then this song then the song "New moon over my shoulder by Jimmy or Sunshine over my Shoulder by John Denver and sung by Carly Rae Jensen or Al di la, Volvere or Walking on the Sand by Al Martino or Back to life by Pitbull or Cher song-Believe and I got you or Summertime by Janis Joplin or Al Martino sings a same title song and then the song Tracy and to the song Theme from a Summer Place" ! or a latin amercian song from one of those known top singer or the one person who can sing a real song.
This is very pretty, but to me there will never be a Winter Olympic theme song like 2002's "The Prayer" from the SLC games...it was right after September 11th and that performance during the closing ceremony...I still get chills just thinking about it. I was living in NYC at the time and so I just sat watching that performance and bawled my eyes out (and then some lol). That emotion was still so raw and that particular selection couldn't have been more perfect. One of those moments you remember the rest of your life.
