Mr. Scruff describes Piccadilly Records as “Like the inside of John Peel’s brain”. The store’s staff are aficionados of every genre - from hip hop to house, Kraut Rock to drone. They filter out all the crap for you… so you know that every record you buy will be a gem. Check it out: www.piccadillyrecords.com
Mr. Scruff shows us why he is a true master of his craft. Seamlessly blending reggae, funk, house, techno and disco, the Ninja Tune artist, who is known for his marathon sets, is truly one of a kind. His productions are critically acclaimed worldwide, fusing his love of electronica, jazz and soul for both the dancefloor and after party. www.mrscruff.com
He's a top man, his 6 hour sets are a true journey, he has such a broad variety of knowledge and his lights & visuals show are all his own doing too. Himself and Luke Vibert are 2 of the best for diverse genres in their sets and being able to play live for hours on end!

This video is an example of pure good being created. Showcasing a great DJ/producer, an awesome record shop, 130k+ views, and it sounds amazing. Everybody benefits.
Sorry Mr Scruff, I accosted you in the Gaucho Grill once in Manchester (I didn't know who you were, you're such a cup of tea). Thanks for a touch of the Eastern Bloc!

like how he dips back into records that hes mixed out. (moodymann hungover vocal back into theo parrish). still havent been a band on the wall night the fuq o.O
D Sek7or :) did I buy a turntable? how's your collection going??? I just got my first turntable a few weeeks ago and I've been going crazy diggin thru crates at record shops

This is true. I hate to see these no talent EDM pricks selling out huge festivals and pressing play and jumping around with BOTH HANDS IN THE AIR. Scruff and the guys at Ninja Tune stay true.
What the hell do you mean 'no talent'?? They obviously have talent otherwise they wouldn't be selling out huge festivals would they? They just don't have the talents which you hold in high regard. (although if you actually knew and understood the full extent of whatever talents they do have you would probably hold them in higher regard even if you don't personally enjoy their productions/performances). The main talent of these 'EDM pricks' is that they're very good at connecting with people who are pilled up and gurning their faces off. If that's essentially what you pay to go to the festival to do, then the EDM pricks will be right up your street - you're having the time of your life, you have insane amount of love for everything and everyone and everything is absolutely perfect, so it's quite nice when the DJ appears to be reflecting that state of mind. You don't find your way to headlining huge festivals without having a fairly good insight into the psychology of your audience while under the influence of the substances which they're most likely to be under at the time, you know.
@@RWL2012 Sorry, does what I'm saying sound unreasonable to you? I just don't see any call for words like "I hate those no talent pricks" to describe anyone who a lot of people obviously enjoy. They're entertainers, they do a job (of sorts). I prefer music like this but that's personal preference. At other times in my life I would have preferred music like that, and I still think there's a place for it, so why the hate?
