I feel like rob/mark did that on purpose. Like oh darn. Now you have to come back to az to swap em and wheel some more with lmtless does some sh*t 😅😂😂 stoked to see this series 🤙🏼
Good run down on video 1. I would like to know the differences in weight between the two portal hubs? I would also like to know of the two which one really is better as a daily driver. I feel like most of the consumers are adding these to their daily drivers so that is important. There is a part of me that thinks I should have waited a bit longer before pulling the trigger. I also agree on the steel covered break lines I wish they had come on the 74 kit. The clearance is so tight with those lines perhaps the extra bulk would not have worked🤷🏼♂️
@@callsign.iceman7913 thank you for watching and I will make sure to weigh them and give you some answers. The daily driver testing is my first video after the install we are driving them 100 miles each and finding out what they feel like
They are cool for trying to fit 40s but they can never replace good suspension. They offer clearance but not better ride quality or support if carrying heavy gear.
This is something we continue to test and figure out. We also do think a good set of coilovers with proper spring rates is a must but the gearing will definitely help with carrying extra gear.
Packaging? Lmao, that shit gets thrown away or take space up...the finished product and time and engineering is where the money counts. I think id prefer the 74weld kit for the added price since the manufacturer is reachable and can help if you need it, the strength and engineering show in the 74weld obviously plus the billet spindle versus a welded box spindle is not the same..that 74weld looks like you spent the 20k.. Jus saying, cool video!
@@plu5five hey man packing is also important lol… the reachable part is very debatable even being in the US I’ve had multiple conversations with it not happening which is unfortunate. Rob basically runs operations for werewolf in the US and has been there but this being the first kit it definitely comes with a learning curve. As for billet yes it definitely is supposed to be that much better but everything fails and to be honest that’s what I’m here to find out lol
@ they were on a pallet but definitely in this condition. I think we checked one or two out of excitement other than that loaded and brought to the garage.
Nothing new, just social media hype and commercial application availability. Portals have their place in automotive tech but in reality I don’t see a proper price to performance ratio including the negative trade offs. Not a fan how they change the center of gravity on vehicles. But yeah, the cool factor is there and if the owner truly like them, then that’s what matters. I don’t want to come up as a hater because i’m not. Cheers guys and keep up the good work!
When the new Bronco first came out I saw one straight axled, I remember it looking a little sketchy then I never saw it again. I assume with all the nanny's the new Bronco has the computer wasn't having it.
Thanks for doing this, dudes! Excited to see how it goes and learn along with ya.

Personally I think steel is better in the long run , I see the aluminum cracking over time 😮
I’m wondering if they make them for the jeep grand Cherokee? Maybe I should that and add that magnisun super charger to it 🎉😅
haha leave that thing alone its a DAILY lol

@@TrailMilitia There's got to be more to the packaging story lol you're telling me the mail delivered you open boxes without shipping labels on them?

Just looking at out the box, and price 100% Werewolf

So you’re saying that portals are worse than 5 in lift for CG change? I look forward to seeing this series to find out if this is for me.
You must do dirt roads as a stocker. Any lift effects the center of gravity.
@@123-olmngresx of course any lift affects CG what I’m referring to are portals affecting cg worse than a 5” lift?

@ that’s exactly right the trans and t case said nah I’m good
74 Weld $20k
Werewolf Portals $16k
way too expensive you can damn near buy another bronco with that price
It definitely a tough buy but it all depends on the rig and what you plan on doing with it to honestly justify this purchase.
