- The team is currently making films about our project in a new series called "Dig Deeper." Part 1 of "Reconstructing Landscapes" explores the new exhibit inside Jamestown's Memorial Church, which is based on the recent archaeology of Jamestown's 1617 church. Please join us as the Director of Collections and Conservation, Michael Lavin, describes that exhibit and the work that went into it.

Our local Anglican church when I lived in Hertfordshire was brick built circa 1615 and supposedly the earliest brick built church in the country. I wonder if there is is any connection between the two churches? I loved seeing the lathe and plaster demo as it reminded me so much of our previous house, built circa 1650. Thank you for the video!

Lath and plaster was such a good system that when i was Remodeling my 1940's home (England) most of my walls were still made of it!! Also did the first chap's t-shirt have "God save the Queen" on it? Love your videos 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
Great job and so original to place one inside the other, guess it being inside will keep it from the elements.
Wish there had been just a lil’ mention as to the plaster, why are there 2 different colors? Would the modern plaster be the same mixture as the original? At any rate, loved seeing that! Thanks so much for doing a digging deeper segment, great idea! 🥰👏👏👏👏👍❤️
