[3D Printed] CO2 Blow Gun Revolver

- Iterating on my blowgun designs, I decided to tackle a classic mechanism: The Single Action Revolver.
This is a six shot, break action revolving cylinder gun that shoots the same 1 inch blow darts used in my Bolt Action Rifle and uses the same shells. Load six shells into the cylinder and screw in a CO2 cartridge, then pull the trigger to fire. Cocking the hammer back and releasing rotates the cylinder into the next position, readying for fire again.
This design was inspired by the Webley Revolver and has a similar form factor.

Can you maybe make a video on how to assemble it 🙏 pleasse?
A stock, and longer barrel have a super cool revolving rifle. Maybe up the PSI behind the darts somehow for range.
Super cool work by the way! Ngl super tempted to get my own 3D printer
Holy crap that’s genius💡!!! I actually had an idea for a homemade airsoft revolver myself, but I never thought about using a pneumatic blowgun👍
this gun is really cool it's great
i like how it's based off of the British Webley revolver that was used in ww2
YOOOO THAT SICKK
1:32 am i only guy who hear "oh god no"?
No one else heard “oh god no” ?
six shots... enough to kill anyone that moves
Awesome!
Wow!! What an incredible work...but u should have made video of assembly & co2 connection & bullets..
Thanks! It took a lot of iteration to get the design to work, so I was assembling, disassembling and remaking parts constantly. By the time I arrived at a working design, I had already assembled the whole thing (some glue is required) so I couldnt disassemble it to make an assembly video without making a whole new one :/
@@zanderdejah OK got ur point...its OK next If u make a video show the assembly too...& check the fps of bullet..of both bolt action & pistol..I want to make one
Very cool design. Looks like you can also use nerf foam darts for this one.
So coincidentally, the shell diameter is exactly the same as a nerf dart, and half length darts do fit inside the cylinder chambers. However, the barrel pipe is slightly too small for the darts to fit through. This could work with a bit of modification, like removing the inner barrel tube.
@@zanderdejah Please do a modification to fire foam darts. I'm sure a lot of nerfers would love to see the performance of firing foam darts.
@@3dprintwiz378 I just modified the Shell Cylinder part to accept nerf darts. The new file is up on the thingiverse link. I havent tried it out yet but it should work, as long as you dont use the inner barrel tube!
Full video please
I'm no expert but I think if you used a flexible enough material you could make custom darts with wings that expand into a aerodynamic shape when exiting the shell and barrel
Kind of like a bb gun that shoots tiny arrows
Cool idea but the accuracy is actually quite good with the regular darts and adding expanding fins is usually more trouble than its worth. I experimented with that on some crossbow designs and found that the accuracy is mostly unchanged
Please publish making videos of this product ❤❤❤
please make a video of assembling it
How many times can a CO2 cylinder shoot?
i got a question: how many joules does this gun pack?
nice design pls how can i make it shoot .45 .177
Is it also possible to use paintballs for shooting and what diameter you can recommend ? Is it possible to fill the cartridge with such a paintball or better to put in in the barrel directly ?
hi. can you give me a instruction to assemble all the parts. I have all the part but I don't know do it. thank you very much!
Sure! All of the instructions are listed here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4810407
Some inside parts I still don't know where to put it together 😢😢. It would be helped if you have an instruction video 😥😥.
Which tire inflater do i need? Do you have an assembly instruction with picture‘s ?
Check the description
there are different ones to buy
The thingiverse link has the instructions and links to parts. It looks like the tire inflator is no longer available on amazon but there are similar ones that should work, like this
Ctrepower CO2 Bike Tire Inflator - Schrader and Presta Compatible CO2 Bike Pump with Button Design for Airflow Control- 6 x 16g CO2 Cartridges and Insulated Sleeve Included a.co/d/h7nuZE0
@@zanderdejah thx 👍
Como puedo comunicarme con ud algun email me gustaria pedirte un diseño en base al que ya tienes hecho
good job I'm waiting impatiently for the next episodes idea for the episode maybe a co2 airgun 🤨🤨🤨🤨?
This is in fact a CO2 airgun. Ive posted two others as well, one a bolt action rifle and the other a repeating pistol
Yes, I know only about the co2 airgun for pellets or steel balls
@@sebastianperykasza1078 ah I see, yes that could be an idea for the next one :)
@@zanderdejah Oh, that's fantastic, I can't wait for the next episode and it would be nice if you try to come up with your idea for a windbreaker and not download from tingiwers or popular websites :)
How do you regulate how much gas is released each shot?
Great question! I do not regulate it. There is a fairly consistent flow from the bike pump valve but if you hold down the trigger, itll keep dispensing.
@@zanderdejah That's exactly what I needed to know. I'm also designing an Airsoft style gun with a bike pump valve and I have been wondering about this for a long time, thanks.
@@reallyfurious if you’ve made this you should upload it on thingiverse

which is the valve you use for the co2 tank? I'm printing your design and I don't know which one I should use
What valve are you talking about? I only use the small bike pump listed in the thingiverse page to connect to the co2 cartridge. There should also be a file for a small coupler part to connect that pumps output to the tube
@@zanderdejah but how do u trigger it
