Model Bench Update: May 11, 2024

An update of what I have been up to the past few weeks in the world of scale modelling.
Which includes finishing ICM's 1/48 B-26B Marauder and work on the 1/48 Kinetic EA-6B Prowler and a 1/48 Tamiya F-16.

Congrats on the Marauder, looks great - excellent result on the ICM social media. Great (and deserved!!) recognition!!!
Loved the Prowler ever since I had a 1/72 Hasegawa version. Not sure why I line it so much but I do. USN schemes play a role in my love, but there’s something about the shape including the EW pods which really does it for me.

RW was watching scale modeling channel Mike Ashey and he had a tape up review on the marauder.he saw the main problem like you had with the landing gear.he suggest to his verwers to use the monogram/revell landing gear due to they are more stouter to support the weight.other then that great job on it.

I would imagine a set of metal gear would cost less and easier to find than the monogram kit

I also got stuff from Ukraine. As soon as the occupants were kicked out of the Kyiv area, I made an order. No problems at all getting the parts.

1:14 Nice model, love the Maraudr. Just a comment, ailerons shouldn't be one up and one down? I see both down. They are to control the rol maneuver . Flaps all down.

No, cause The Marauder is fly by wire actuated
