What a intelligent argument here.
Humm… I do understand the idealistic thoughts behind the ‘performance revenue’ and I do think more people should somehow benefit from ‘big financial success’, too 👌🏻 Maybe not even just the artists or performers, but that’s whole other topic. If 10% is put aside for paying extra ‘royalties’ to the creator (producer, composer, song writer…?) then that would be just another reason for a DJ to play more of its own (ghost produced) tracks or those of ‘friendly’ labels. Use the money for funding broader art initiatives developing potentials.
