Nice!!! I have just literally bought my self the pard 007v and im very please with my purchase, but this looks next level. Cheers Allen for your time giving us this review.
I’m sure it’s one hell of a bit of kit but at around £900 I’ll be continuing to use my Sightmark wraith, but that’s just me. I’ve got the first pard 007 and from new it never lasted 8 hours as it stated and been lucky to get 45 minutes per battery, but it served its purpose.
This looks very good. Only thing I don’t like about the pards is how hard they are on battery with the built in IR. That’s my only fault. Looks good quality
I'm curious how they have managed to align the LRF with the cross hair, because the NV008P LRF is all over the shop. If its slightly off at 100m it will be a nightmare at 500m. Also its ftlb not ft fps but thanks for the video. Currently on their website they are only advertising the 850nm IR. The 940nm will be better for me.
Thanks for the video about the DS version. One question. I heard that Pard is going to launch a new version like the NV series but its going to an FD series because its going be attached with the front lens. Its going to solve all the problems about high turrets scopes I think if its true about this new model. Did someone heard something?
Hello, I'm getting confused because I don't know how to focus the objective with the rangefinder, the blinking light almost goes out of the viewfinder circle, thanks
You didn't show the most important thing i have been looking for the cant mechanism. Probley will on the next one. I will be watching. I think it would look good on my Alpha wolf hp.
@@airgunology AFAIK, the current PARD 008S LRF does not take inclination or cant into account when doing the ballistic calculation so it will be interesting to see if the DS does
24:30, looks like the cant indicator is on the right hand side in brackets below the Incline. Will be very interesting to see if the calculator uses them, although without including a windage indicator in not sure what use it would be to include that on the drop indicator as the POI would still be wide.
@@Marcus_Shaw So you want an £850 scope to have a built in wind meter and then use the wind value at the scope (which will almost certainly be different from the wind at the target) to move the reticle horizontally Not even a £3K Swarovski has that!!!
Does anybody know about how much will this scope be? It seems something exactly what I've been looking for might be a self Christmas gift, but I have to know how much is going to be hopefully is not Over my budget.
Nice Steve, look's like Santa came early:) yay 1440p resolution (barking at ATN's heels) , what video format does it record in? hope it's Mp4 ......... not AVI or WMV
@@airgunology Thank's for the promp reply Steve, glad Pard stuck with MP4 for video compression, it looks easy to navigate the menus and has some cool stuff built in. If this is as reliable as my 007 (used 4 times weekly for 2 years) I'm already SOLD.
@@airgunology Looking forward to your after thought's Steve, I was going to upgrade to the 008 with LRF but now waiting to see how this works out with this new product which I see as direct competion to ATN line. Have a good night.
Looking at the blurb the DS35 is reasonably high optical magnification at 5.6x, then being the same as the NV008 it's be 2x digital + 2x PIP, so the equivalent of 22.4x. Personally I never use the PIP on my NV008 which is 6.5x optical, I find the 2x digital more than enough.
Not seen this yet but have used the 008 and 007 Pards for a while now and have to say they have been brilliant for the money.

I get 3-4 hours per battery with an external IR (and brightness level 0) from the Pard 007
@@permissiontoshoot5036 It's as if QUALITY of battery matters.
@@therodenthitman It does , the battery that came with the pard only lasts 15 minutes, the batteries I bought £20 for 2
last 4 hours each.😂
Can't wait for this to come on sale. Looking forward to seeing you next video
Thanks ! 😭 another one to add to my decisions ,was looking at the 008 s lrf then the alpex and now another ,
Looks good, waiting for your next video on it 👍
Nice ! I will have to see some more but it is looking like something I might be interested in . Price point will be a factor too . Thank you 👍🍻🍻
it's the same balistics software in the 008 s lrf and it works great even on sub 12 .177

Steve Allen + Pard DS35 70mm - I wouldn’t wanna be a pigeon livin anywhere near this guy🤓🤪
i'm gonna have the one of this ....... nice video steve, thanks
Cant wait to see your next video steve when it's on a rifle
Great review Steve

My question would be, does it have a comparable twilight capability like the Pulsar C50, the Infiray and the Hikmicro Alpex ?
Great review Steve I'm having one
Nice review look forward to seeing it in the field

i would assume the 33 is the one without illuminator and range finder also have seen them on pre order for £739
Nice may see if we can get one in Ireland 🇮🇪 con from Ireland
I think you may have made a mistake on the pellet weight units Steve, I think gr is grams and gn is grains
will check
It switches from gr = grains to g = grams when you switch from metric to imperial units
Does it have 1 shoot zero? Thanks you.
Really expecting the vídeo review
Yes
@@airgunology ohhh perfect.
Was going to buy the nv008, guess i will wait for this one to to be in stock at my local gun dealer.
Question
Will the crosshairs remain central when you zero up using the X And Y
Example X-160 Y-140 🤔🤔
It’s the only let down with 008s lrf
Yes within limits. If scope is really out of line, you will still need to shim
@@airgunology so how do u shim a set of scope rings for left and right 🤔

Hi Steve is this a 30mm or 34mm body? Thanks
I have searched and searched and unable to find the link for the PARD DS35 manual...would you mind sharing the link, please?
I don't think it is publically available yet

I’d bet that it will be around all its competitors at 800-1200
Just over £900
Any updates on UK release date?

Regarding the Ballistics Calculator, Will it accept the smaller grain pellets? i.e. under 10 grain. think .177).
Yes down to 1gr unlike the ATN
@@airgunology Now you got me interested. Thanks for the info. 👍
Is the info lost if the battery is removed for a long time , 2 - 3 days or longer?
No, it has internal EPROMS (they are writeable memory units)
In your video the image looks oval, is it actually oval when you look through the eyepiece?
No just my recording software
Any night test video?
Soon, patience
Shame they limited the digital zoom to just 2. Max mag is poor in comparison to a old school ATN
