- The Undertaker, a legendary figure in WWE, has shown through various mediums that he harbors deep feelings for both allies and rivals in the wrestling world. This has become increasingly apparent from shoot interviews and WWE documentaries, which have peeled back the layers of his on-screen persona. The legendary wrestler, The Undertaker, had deep feelings for both friends and foes in the WWE, leading to tensions and arguments in both backstage and in-ring scenarios.
CM Punk's feud with The Undertaker in 2009, where The Undertaker used his backstage power to halt Punk's championship push due to dress code violations.
The Undertaker's involvement in a feud with Brock Lesnar, stemming from their interactions in UFC and WWE, with Dana White commenting on their beef.
The Undertaker's past feud with Shawn Michaels, which included tension backstage and their legendary Hell in a Cell match.
The Undertaker's relationship with The Big Show, where The Undertaker mentored him despite previous conflicts and criticisms.
The potential dream match between The Undertaker and Sting that never happened, despite negotiations and fan anticipation.
These highlights provide insights into some of The Undertaker's notable feuds and interactions with other wrestlers in the WWE and beyond.
The Undertaker (Mark Calaway) gave an interview with Ariel Helwani recently where the subject of Vince McMahon's "retirement" was brought up. and who the Undertaker Hates! "The Deadman" noted that, were it up to McMahon, the multi-time former world champion never would've fully retired and would still be in the ring delivering chokeslams every now and then in front of WWE fans. But when McMahon claimed in July 2022 that he was retiring in the midst of multiple sexual misconduct scandals and inquiries from the SEC and federal prosecutors, Calaway never bought it for a second. McMahon called him the day before his announcement, prompting an argument between the two.
"He called me the day before he announced it and we got in an argument because I thought he was ribbing me. I said, 'There's no way. There is absolutely no way you're stepping away.' He was like, 'No, This is what I'm going to do.' I'm like, 'No man, why are you f-ing with me? This is me.' We ended up going at it a little bit," Calaway said. "Finally, I was like, 'Alright. Okay.' Sure enough, the next day, Vince resigned, but I knew there was no way he'd stay away. Even in this role, I think it's going to be challenging for him. I mean, that's his baby, man. He's the one that created this whole thing. I know he wants to make sure these TV deals and everything are done the right way. And right now, I think that's his sole motivation, but that's Vince McMahon. I don't know. We'll see where it goes, but a WWE without Vince is, for me, hard to imagine."

Sting didn't want to go to WWE because he knew the minute they signed him Vince was going to bury him. So sting waited till after his prime to do so.
another possibility for sure!
He confirmed it when he saw how they treated Booker T when he first got there
The real reason is when Jericho came out and The Rock asked who he was and how the announcers were instructed to act like they have no clue who he was even though the fans did. Plus look at how Vince treated ex-WCW wrestlers if you jumped ship you could go as far as you wanted but if you stayed and came to the surface after going down with the WCW ship you would be lucky to go anywhere. A ton of WCW guys had talent but Vince buried them even Sting he buried and just like the fans Sting wanted to face The Undertaker at least once it didn’t have to be wrestlemaina it could be Raw or Smackdown even. They would have sold millions of PPVs buys if they teased it. Prime or not it was on wrestling fans wishlist for 20 years easily.
Sting never had a prime. He was Stink from day one until this day. Boring in the ring, boring on the mic, a complete waste of a roster spot.
@@razorback9926 Sting’s an absolute legend and Icon lmao. Couldn’t be more wrong on all accounts. Even his surfer sting days and feud with Ric Flair that pretty much put him on the map.
Taker hated Hogan because Hogan tried to deem him unsafe early on in his career by faking a neck injury from Taker's tombstone piledriver.
yep i have a video dedicated to that.
Hogan is a chump! 💯
Hogan is always in business for Hogan
Oh no you got me brother!!!
Terry your head never touched!!!
@@brokenkayfabeWhatever you say clown...
Obviously, Taker was cryptically asking brock if he was ready for MMA retirement and ready to return to the WWE
He hated/hates Giant Gonzalez for not being a good worker at all
He hated/hates Viscera because he injured Taker and everyone else
He didn't hate Big Show, he said it was annoying that they stuck Show with him to learn after Taker complained.
He HATED Hogan
He used to hate Shawn Michaels, HHH, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall when they were all in the WWE because they ran pretty much ran the place. There's a story about Undertaker, Papa Shango and someone else basically being the Kliq Police and making HHH, HBK and the others get their act together.
Ya this isn't accurate at all.
Yeah the Kliq wasn't worried about undertaker, or anyone else.
@@k1ngf1sh50 he literally said all of this himself get fucked and dunked
First off Takers group was the BSK. And yes he didn't like the Kliq and neither group was afraid of the other. But we also see how it played out. Two guys left. (Kliq) one got punished and one carried on till he "lost his smile" so yeah Taker still won when it's all said and done. So much so Shawn himself has acknowledged his past and how more professional Taker always was so. YEAH!
I don’t think he hated Giant Gonzalez just hated working with him
"Have to settle with John cena". Man carried wwe on his back for as long as he could
Fr Brock couldn’t have carried wwe like John did besides nexus John put over a lot of younger stars where we know Brock wouldn’t do that.
Cena oversaw a massive decline for the WWE, comparable to Diesel era. Put on back my ass
Sting an taker would of been epic one for the history books for sure
facts!!
They have had a match together though back in wcw just not as the respected characters they are now
@Cody Mucc well that doesn't matter then cause no one cared about it 🤣 in 98 it would of been awesome and even 2001
Yeah didn’t happen because Triple H wanted to add Sting to the guys he beat. Especially of the former WCW guys.
Too bad Vjnce is a complete dipshit and we got a stupid ass Triple H ego match instead with a petty ass victory. Than had Rollins tried to cripple him which was probably a set up. Ur telling me there wasn’t a meeting where Vince didn’t want Sting working anywhere else afterwards?
Also, Sting seems like one of the industries true good guys. Also, he is a true legend and Vince shits on him the first chance he gets. Sad, because Sting is one of the greatests of all time
Ive been watching wrestling since the early 90's, wcw and wwf. Whenever a sting match would come on id change the channel, dude was boring as fuck, he is known because his gimmick is unique... but wrestling wise, promo wise, meh, kinda lame, not even close to legendary.
@@derka_james very unpopular opinion and objectively wrong.
Sting ain't the best lol he's a wcw guy who failed
Taker is a legend amongst his peers and has always made sure everyone was safe. A professional throughout, he was a mentor and an idol
Facts
i can see him being very professional. He is one the top tier wrestlers ever.
ABSOLUTELY 🖤💜🖤
Yeah...makes you wonder though how much bs he saw behind the scenes and did nothing about. It's known he was 100% a company man. Never going against Vince since he always got his wrestlemania win year after year
I'm sure Taker letting Brock break the streak at WM is all you need to know that they both do not hate each other
Please tell me something that I said in the video thats a lie.

Undertaker didn't make the decision to let Brock end his streak. Vince McMahon did.
Plus when he self-eliminated himself from the rumble as a show of respect when in the last two with Brock, or the talk of Taker suggesting him or Kurt as possible streak breakers back in Lesnar’s first run…
Some great content, even if some info is a little off. I learned a lot about wrestlers, especially Big Show. Thanks for putting the time into this!
thank u. it was my first one. hope you check out the others.
Very insightful, Great video 👍👍
The undertaker/Lesnar thing was apparently a training motto they had together to push each other
Take recently stated in an interview he has no issue with CM Punk and enjoyed working with him.
I was just getting ready to say this lol. This video is bs.
It's not only bullshit, but theres only 3 wrestlers he is talking about. fucking clickbait
The undertaker seems like a guy that puts the company above ALL, including friends and family. I'm not sure that's the kind of person you'd ever want to be really close with. That said, the respect would always be there.
And then the company threw him under the bus.
@@abdulheisenberg8781 How so?
@@dendanskehelt4296the probably the mid-90s crap he had to do that kept him away from the championship but ultimately caused him to grow in popularity and gave them so e of the greatest matches ever…

Love your work, not your job.
Taker comes across as being so attached to the craft of the business that he didn’t hate people but just hated when people were not respecting the craft by not taking it seriously/avoiding it though backstage politics.
Fun video, great job!
Stinger vs Taker would still be a great match even now. I would love to see it happen. They both still have one more in them .

Some people also forget Undertaker was kinda the “authority” backstage, they even had the joke for wrestlers court if someone was “in trouble” they would tell them “bring a bottle of jack tonight” because undertaker’s favorite drink was Jack Daniels and he was the “judge”
Perfect voice for narrating WWF RUclips clips. Coincidentally , would also excel in the LOR, larping & Bronie genres
Wow, thank you!
Man....could you imagine a prime Sting vs a prime Undertaker? That match would rip the roof off the arena.

@@brokenkayfabe yeah I don’t remember where I heard that, if I remember correctly Hunter really wanted to wrestle sting. Obviously taker would have done the match if Vince said so, to me I think taker wasn’t really all that interested in working with sting. If he said Vince I want to work with him then it would have happened but probably seeing taker not say anything he probably went with triple h idea. Plus you know Vince probably loved to get one more dig at wcw
@@thedangerdave7167 I can definety see something like that happening.

Taker literally just said on a podcast he enjoyed and was cool with Punk, he and Brock are very close been close for years now even when Brock left WWE, he and Shawn weren’t friends in the 90s but they are now
Please tell me something that I said in the video thats a lie.
Taker didn’t use his backstage power. JR said he dropped the title due to a dress code violation but never said Taker was the one that said he was dropping the title. Vince chose Taker because he could trust Taker to carry the title. If Taker wanted Punk to lose so bad, he would’ve won at Breaking Point not Hell in a Cell. You sound like such a mark thinking everything you said is true. You lied and used a clickbait title.
Also Punk wasn’t unhappy about losing to Taker, you’re leaving out context. He was unhappy that he would lose and then be there the next show while Taker went away. Compounded with the fact that Hunter beat Punk and went away, Rock beat Punk then lost to Cena and went away. He was sick of losing to part timers who just went away after beating him while he had to come out on tv the next day and get his shine back. He was white hot until they cooled him off and that was Vince, not Taker. He should’ve been in the main event for god sakes the miz was in the main event two years prior… he was upset and he was hurt at the time with multiple injuries and had the best match of mania to spite everyone in the back. Stop leaving out context that paints these guys in a bad light
He doesn’t hate Steve/Sting. He hates WCW.
Undertaker likes Sting. He said he didn't feel he was in good enough shape so late in his career to give the fans the match they want between the 2.
The most loyal man in the biz, he detests young wrestlers who disrespects the veterans.
He is the judge after all.
Mark alert he thinks undertaker legit showed up to the UFC with real heat
Also taker could be holding a grudge since sting was in wcw when they were trying to put WWE out of business. It seems that's the reason why ddp was buried by WWE in 2002
Idk at the time the wwe being run out may not have been a bad idea. Consider cheap thrills by the wwe on the horizon
When big show is talking, the audio is really quiet, which I'm guessing it's how it was during that interview, but the text while he's speaking is going so fast I can't read it.
My bad it was my first video ever.

I think undertaker sting never happened in wwe out of respect. They did sting dirty he was the final wcw star to have wwe beat. Undertaker probably respected him and didn’t want to squash him/disagreed with the wwe run knowing how Vince would book it
could be right! we may never know...
That's funny that Sting is his most hated wrestler, I got to meet Sting at autograph signing, in Richmond, VA, he is was nicest guy I met in wrestling. He asked questions to my friends and I and seemed like a big fan himself of the business. Meet Scott Hall that night to, when he was Diamond Studd, just real cool guy with the fans. They put on a Wargame match that was unbelievable to watch. Lex Luger pointed me and ask if my parent's were cousin in Spanish, my friends thought I be mad and put I took it with good humor because I still got his autograph, lol. I wish modern wrestling was more like the 80s and 90s.
Back in the day, you really believed the Undertaker wasn't human. The way he moved and wouldn't sell when wrestlers would hit him.
What does that have to do with Undertaker's beef with peole? Pointless comment
No stings best chance came in the early 2000s just after the merger. He saw the Rock Booker T segment and changed his mind according to him . That segment was a bit disrespectful to Booker and everything he accomplished but even Booker laughed at it and it opened up big things for him later on same could have happened for Sting . Taker VS Sting would have happened.

Minnesota released Brock because he kept injuring teammates in practice. He was hellbent on making that team.
That was not why he was released at all not even close. Everyone says their dream match or match theyd want to go out on is versus the Undertaker. Mans not wrong he’s got a line going 😂
Taker also doesn't like Shane Douglas, who angered him during their early WCW days and wouldn't have given him a WrestleMania Streak match, even though it would have been an incredible match for Shane's career(as would have been a Taker/Konnan Streak match). And when Sting retires from AEW it wouldn't surprise me if he got that call from the WWE to have either a Triple Threat match with Logan Paul and Taker, being a referee during a Taker/Logan Paul match,or to do a Saudi show against Taker(and/or Paul). Even if a Taker/Sting match would go as much of a turnout as the taker/Goldberg match did,it would be an amazing sight for all to see.
