Hubbell PRO Pin and Sleeve Devices

Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems’ launched their Hubbell-PRO Pin and Sleeve Devices for OEMs to help installers make the most of their day so they can finish more work in less time.
After hearing requests from customers for more installation efficiency, reduction of waste, and the need for a complete line of dual-rated devices, Hubbell added several features that bring a new level of performance to the Hubbell-PRO line while also keeping budgets in mind. These time-saving elements include:
Edge Screwless terminations (available in 30A and 32A) that reduce termination time by 80% or more; terminations are also resistant to vibration, wire relaxation, and temperature fluctuation
Glandless water ingress protection eliminates wasted time selecting and installing a gland
Screwless, two-piece housing that requires only a single push tab to secure housing
Featuring external strain relief, Hubbell-PRO Pin and Sleeve Devices eliminate awkward time-consuming internal swing arms and accepts the full range of approved cable ranges.
As with all Hubbell solutions, durability is also key. A tough, insulated PBT housing provides maximum impact and abuse resistance. A solid pin construction provides long life and reliable electrical contact for consistent performance. Shrouding protects the pins from impact and abuse to ensure uptime. Devices also conform to IEC 60309 and UL 1682 ratings.
“This product was value engineered to meet OEM requirements,” says Greg McAleer, senior product manager at Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “The numerous installation efficiencies are going to be a game changer.”
Available in watertight and splash-proof configurations, North American devices are offered in 20A, 30A, 60A, and 100A; European devices are available in 16A, 32A, 63A, and 125A versions. Devices are sold in bulk packs: 16/20A and 30/32A configurations are sold in 10-piece packs while 60/63A and 100/125A configurations are sold in five-piece packs.
