    Well done!Indeed, a great video to learn and understand. A suggestion: make a practical planning poker session in real team developing software product with POs, BAs, Developers and Scrum Master; purposely to make other understand who it is executed. Nevertheless, I have understood it quiet well, therefore I am contend. Keep posting more video on Scrum related issues.

    Hi Niladri, I have one question here. In estimation meeting ,the scrum team is involve like tester ,developer ,BA. So everybody need to give their individual estimation or they need to suggest overall estimation for the story.

    Just one question: What is the use of estimating story points which is not relevant to the efforts or time? We need to look into the efforts or time taken to complete the task by using poker planning. If there is any changes in the time b/w the developers, we can have discuss b/w them until all are agreed on same time.

    "Agile Framework"??? Please tell me you are not an Agile Coach.

    • @AgileDigest
      @AgileDigest  6 лет назад +1

      Yes Jay, You heard it right. This is controversial topic, many says Agile is a mindset, many says philosophy, many says methodology, and many says framework. Agile primarily is a set of Principles and Values which enables multiple frameworks like Scrum, Kanban etc. during speaking I prefer to say it as a framework. Agile gives your the foundation to enable better software development. do you have some different thoughts ?

    • @jammerules80
      @jammerules80 6 лет назад +3

      Agile Digest Please accept my apologies for my off-colored remarks earlier. I have heard all the definitions of agile that you mentioned above except for it being a framework. I would define Scrum, SAFe or Kanban some forms of agile framework but not agile itself being a framework. To me agile is a style/way of accomplishing things.

      @@AgileDigest Great videos! Your explanation, examples are well crafted other than some repetitions you can avoid. Agile is definitely NOT a Framework most of Agile practitioners know that. It is used very loosely by industry and trainers, I was taught the same in a class and when I referred it as a Framework to answer a question in a Agile group meet, I realized how bad of a mistake it is after a small fraction of the class raised objection to it, followed by heavy debate/research as we were confused as hell!
      Suggest it is better to avoid using that term in coaching/training as it can plant a wrong definition for folks trying to learn or get acquainted with Agile practices (yes, they are referred to as practices by many Agile experts including Agile and Scrum parent sites).
      As you stated, Agile is a set of 4 Values and 12 Principles per the Agile Manifesto.
      Agile Frameworks are - Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, Crystal and FDD

      @@AgileDigest Agile itself is not a framework, it is the umbrella of many other frameworks (scrum, safe, xp, ...), so it is more a mindset.
