Honestly, as somebody who has played both, I genuinely liked Yellow more than the OG. The only thing that would've made it better was if it was longer. Maybe if the city section was filled out, and if Snowdin had Sans and Papyrus (not sure if they existed but if so would've been cool) or if in general some characters from the main game reappeared. Either way, both games were amazing.
I love how this true ending really shows the brughter side of Justice: While yeah, the 5 humans were likely murdered by the royal guard, AXIS, and Asgore, in their defense, the life they were having in the underground is miserable, and while Asgore could've leave the underground with only one soul and collect 6 more, he was still grieving from the death of his 2 children and losing Toriel, an as a sign of desperation to bring hope, he said every human would die...Even so he we see really hates doing this, but he feels he has to. Of course, Clover doesn't know Asgore situation, be he has experience monsters' reaction and how it feels living in the underground, it's unjust and unfair for them to live there, for a war that they didn't even begin. And knowing that monsters just are kind individual who have suffered and all want just freedom, Clover bought Justice to Monsterkind because they're the real victims here, because, the war was a surprise attack, there really wasn't any provocation but just human fear of the powerful beast monsters could've become because while it is a valid concern, there were better ways to deal with it than just slaughtering and imprisoning the rest. Of course, killing human children could've been avoided by using Toriel's proposal, but in emotional desperation, you can't see clearly and asgore really just wanted a way to motivate monsterkind, which you can't blame much, and even then Asgore still hates he has to, yet for him and monsterkind , there's no other way to escape... Of course, Clover and the others likely hated this was the only option. But for Clover, he sacrified to what his soul truly represents, Justice...

If I’m wrong tell me below but… I’m seeing people say yellow is non-canon to undertale which, of course, duh. But they’re #1 reason is because they say clover’s the sixth soul which apparently makes no sense? Frisk was supposed to be the 7th soul but their determination prevented that, so I don’t know why they say it’s uncannon for clover being the 6th soul. Another reason is because since UT yellow could be canon means UT red could be canon which makes no sense, yellow and red don’t have to exist in the same universe, one can be canon and the other can be total blasphemy, and who even cares? This is a sick a$$ fan game and I hope we get more fan games on the other souls. Thank you for reading this.
There are some minor discrepancies, one of those being the file that flowey used in the no mercy and neutral routes. It's also implied that the 6th human is indeed the yellow soul, but that they fell into the underground much sooner.
good to know i'm not the only one who died to axis like 1000 times 😭 im actually watching this playthrough because i ragequit and gave up on that battle lmao
Man, that ending puts Asgore as an even bigger asshole. Clover sacrifices himself to give his soul. What does Asgore do? Still keep the charade HE killed Clover and took his soul (it's said in the original game that "no human made past Asgore", though you could argue that not even reaching him is kinda "not making past him"). After all, can't have monsters thinking humans are decent enough to sacrifice their lives for them and soon have the monsters turn against Asgore and protect them. Which kinda is what actually happens in the original game's True Pacifist ending, though this is right after Asgore decides to change his ways.
I find it interesting that most of the enemies we see in the Dark Ruins, Snowdin, the Steamworks and in the original Undertale games itself all look dead/defeated when spared, but when you spare the Dune enemies they look (more suitably) satisfied, like Migosp and Endogeny.
Undertale yellow full pacifist run is the canon prequel to Undertale because there are mentions of asgore only needing 2 human souls left to destroy the barrier, the soul of clover and then finally, the soul of Frisk next, am I right?
Don't ask me why but this ending somehow gets more to me than the actual ending of Undertale,it's a sad ending, the player feels closer to the main cast than in the original and you get to see Clover as more than just a blank space for the player to fill in (don't get me wrong,Frisk isn't that but Clover somehow feels more of a complete character than Frisk)
The reason i cried during the Pacifist ending is probably because of how much it reminded me of RDR2, which i also cried while playing, Clover crawling over to the wall so they can sit back in their final moments, really reminded me of Arthur's death in RDR2. They are two very different games, but i love both of them so so much.

I think both are cannon frisk is the seventh and sunflower cowboy clover human is the 6th
There are some minor discrepancies, one of those being the file that flowey used in the no mercy and neutral routes. It's also implied that the 6th human is indeed the yellow soul, but that they fell into the underground much sooner.
To me it is 100 percent Canon.
good to know i'm not the only one who died to axis like 1000 times 😭 im actually watching this playthrough because i ragequit and gave up on that battle lmao
ikr
Ending is so emotional
4:27:20 Please don't do that again. It gave me a flameache.
the ending was emotinal
bro didnt even use the coffee on ice tongue pole man
The fact that you never wen't back to help that bunny get their tongue off the poll is just cruel. YOU HAD HOT COFFEE!!
I forgot ok😅
6:28:40 (just saving my spot)
That mission is the only one i resetted to try to complete and i still had to consult the wiki (reward def worth it tho)
Hot coffee is too hot, it's a whole "thing" where you need to get warm coffee and it kinda sucks.
I like how Know Cone tries to teabag you for an attack
Damn. The ending was so sad the computer started crying too. 7:59:54

Don't ask
I finally found a no commentary for Undertale Yellow
Don't ask me why but this ending somehow gets more to me than the actual ending of Undertale,it's a sad ending, the player feels closer to the main cast than in the original and you get to see Clover as more than just a blank space for the player to fill in (don't get me wrong,Frisk isn't that but Clover somehow feels more of a complete character than Frisk)
Or you just got very used to the pacifist ending that you don't find it emotional anymore, and then something new changes it.
@@berdinaction mayhaps
i can only wonder what he felt when his game glitched 1:50:00
God damnit this ending almost made me cry. Not even undertales ending made me cry
Just leaving this timestamp for myself don't mind me
