Yume Nikki has been a popular internet phenomenon for years now, and the fangames are no secret. But recently, a project came along that has fulfilled one of my long-time dreams: Online multiplayer! Yume Nikki Online is a massive project undertaken by a small dev team enabling you to play Yume Nikki and 9 other fangames with other people. In this video, I talk aabout Yume Nikki and 2kki, the project in general, and it's progression and badge system. Enjoy!
MAJOR EDIT: So something I didn't know about, but all the work of the three devs I mentioned in the video is based off the code of one person from reddit. Their netcode is the entire reason the project got started, so much thanks to reddit user Imaginary_Hall_4293 for their contribution! We wouldn't be tearing up the dream roads without you!
