Thank you so for the information. I just received a T-Fal for Christmas and you are correct. The instructions are not really clear. Love your presentation.
Awesome!! Enjoy it. I know I love mine. 🥰 I revised some of my instructions. Just remember that canning will always be on levels 2 for lower elevation or 3 for higher. 1 is used more for cooking. Taking you for watching 🥰. Happy Canning.
Great tips! I have been experiencing siphoning while canning green beans and now I think this is why! new to my t-fal and never experienced this in 30 yrs of canning, but the instructions are not clear to do this tip. Thank you
T you're great AND the only one I can find on you tube working with a T-fal lol. So... when I was seasoning my new canner I ran through what the manual said. The pressure on the pressure gauge never came back to "0". I contacted the company and they told me to send it into my local T-fal manufacturer. Oooh, I just sent off the outer delivery box and what a hassle. Guess I should've studied pressure canners before buying. Thanks Glad you have a good T-fal!
Thank you so much for watching. I bought the T-fal because its so easy to use. After reading the manual several times I thought to myself if this is confusing to me its got to be confusing to others. When I figured it out I started making videos. Again thanks for your support! 🥰
Thank you so much. I love mine as well. It definitely comes in handy for not only canning but for cooking large batches of food for big events. Thank you for watching. Enjoy 🥰
Our canner say to us 2-3 quarts but for longer processing time use a little more water. A good guide is to also use the Nation Preservation of Food website. Just remember you never want to have too little that where you will definitely run into issues 😬. Thank for your support.
I would suggest you look up Ball canning online. It will give you the exact amount of water you should use. somethings require different levels of water. HAPPY CANNING 🥰
You're amazing! Thank you for sharing this info. This will be my first time using the pressure canner and i'm a little intimidated lol. Once you start building pressure, if for some reason it should drop below where your zone is and you have already set the timer do you need to worry or just turn the heat back up and get it back into the proper zone.
Thanks so much for watching. T-Fal is pretty simple, if for any reason your canner drops in pressure you may have a sealing issue. That could involve your gasket or the closer of the pot itself. There should be no other reasons for the pot to loose pressure once it builds. Remeber once you get to your zone setting you can reduce the heat slowly and just make sure it maintains your zone pressure setting🥰. Happy Canning!!!
Thank you for sharing! I just ordered the same pressure canner and can't wait to use it. Have you ever tried common jars? In my country we don't have Ball jars.
I totally forgot to respond to the jar question. You must be sure to use jars specifically for canning. They need to be able to sustain the amount of pressure in the canner.
Hello, it says in the T-Fal manual to cook a pot roast that serves 8-10 people at setting 2 for an hour. I would imagine that short ribs would take about the same time. You can always set it again and run it for more or less time. Good luck I know they will be delicious 😋 🥰. Send me a pic and I will post. Thasfun.t@gmail.com 👍
Thank you so much for supporting my channel. If you are not getting pressure make sure when you have your pot on the stove, the heat is CRANKED during the 10 min steam. That is what builds the pressure. Keep that heat cranked after the 10 min steam when you turn the dial for your zone.
Thank you!! THIS is what I needed to know. I'm a first time pressure canner. You're right about that manual.
🤣 I know right.
Thank you for your support 🥰

How much water to put in there?
Hey there. Thanks for watching. The water level will be different for each process you undertake. Make sure to check the Ball Canning guide.
I choose joy🥰

Couldn’t agree more the directions are not straight forward at all.
