I honestly had no idea places like Amazon tried to match prices when Nintendo games went on sale. I usually tend to avoid them since I just enjoy getting 1st party Nintendo games physically
Don't buy big Nintendo releases digitally! Get them second hand or on sale at a local store. Some Nintendo stuff holds it's value pretty well and most of the time they are the same price or lower then on the eShop. They will also take up much less space on your switch. Get third party games for dirt cheap digitally.
Yeah! I recommend this too! (Though, as someone living in quite a remote location rn without a car, getting physical releases of games is quite tough, so of course buying digital works too depending on needs :) )
Honestly, ONLY if you’re getting games because you want to sell them in the future. But for many of us, we don’t get games because of the value they will hold in the future! Many of us just don’t have the space for physical games and digital games work for us far better 🥰🩷 It just depends on what you want out of a game. But genuinely some of us just want to enjoy a good game, not collect them for future profit!
Man, I got Okami on the PS2 when I was a child. I played the demo over and over at a local store until it came out. I even got the guide book with it because I loved the pictures. I would love a sequel, and while Okamiden is a thing, I still remember Issun saying that he would tell the story of what happened on the Celestial Plain some other time, hinting at a sequel.
Ori and the blind forest (as well as Will of the wisp) is such a fun game. I got far in blind forest, but been stuck at one level for the longest lol. I def recommend if you like adventure / puzzle games.
I love figment, played it this year and beat it, getting figment 2 and yeah I’m not a great boss battle person so I got frustrated sometimes with the combat lol 😂
I still replay Harvestella. Before Chapter 3, it is so slow. But afterwards it picks up and the world opens up. Also, things aren't as they seem and there's more than one twist to the game. It's beautiful and so much fun, with fulfilling sidequests.
I was absolutely obsessed with Monster Hunter Stories 2. It was like the pokémon game of my dreams! The art was pretty, the story was good, the characters and let's not even talk about the japanese voice acting!! I never got tired of searching for new monster eggs, it was so addictive. I also loved naming the monsties and learning their battle patterns! Definitely an underrated game, I feel like every pokémon fan would enjoy that game! 😊
I already have Life is Strange but never played it, but this made me more excited to pick it up! The way you described it reminded me a lot of Detroit Become Human, which I absolutely loved.
I actually purchased Mario Party Superstars because of this sale and I had a blast playing it for three hours on Mario Day! I love this game as it was the first Mario Party game I've ever played! 🎉
I recently played Figment, and it was so much fun! I died a lot, but it wasn't all that frustrating since you don't loose much progress. Ghost Trick was also a favorite of mine. I think I had it on an iPod Touch- what a blast from the past! I'm tempted to buy it on the Switch, and I'd love if they did a sequel.
Thank you for promoting Ori, i feel like it such an underrated and sometimes hated game 😅 I'll admit it can be very frustrating but its so beautifully made and so rewarding when you finally get it right 😂
Ghost Trick gets slept on! It’s the quiet sibling to the Phoenix Wright series. Fantastic soundtrack. Animation is smooth like buttah, and just oozes character and charm. Top-notch writing with a satisfying ending. And it’s a short 10-12 hour game.
Gonna check out harvestella for that story! It sounds interesting. Not sure how much i would enjoy playing, but thats what playthroughs are for! Thank you for condensing all of these sales down for us to understand. Snagged power wash when i realized it was on sale
Oh my gosh I’d never have thought I’d see Okami suggested in a cozy gaming video!! I’ve been playing Okami since its original release along with its sequel Okamiden and have bought it many times on many platforms. It’s always been a super important game to me and I absolutely adore it! Definitely worth it at full price and even more so on sale
the LIS games are my favorite games of all time! i originally played LIS 1 on mobile so i was super happy that all of the games came to switch! but unfortunately i’m bad at stealth scenes so i never was able to finish the last episode of the original LIS😭
I probably wouldn’t have played Harvestella since it’s not my usual style but I took your recommendation and I loved it so much! I was also a little bored at the beginning but I remembered you said to stick with it. I’ll always take your advice from now on. 🥰
Haven’t checked if it’s on sale, but merchant of the skies is worth a look for people that like trading games with some story and exploration and strategy
Okami is BEYOND worth it Unique game play and Japanese folklore stories as the base for many monsters . I've played it on ps2 to death and wii And plan to play it on PS4 later
Omg thank you for making this video, watched it and immediately jumped out of bath to purchase ori, just in the nick of time with 1 min remaining 😮😅 but it’s purchased ! Whoop whoop 🎉❤
If I just had extra cash and wanted to try these I'd surely buy them But the thing with nintendo is their "sales" some items will be really really good others...not so much
I can't decide if digital or physical is better? games like ori? I know you mentioned big releases should be physical? does that mean first party games? then anything non Nintendo can be done digitally?
i picked ori and dragons dogma up from the sale . but i left syberia ,garfield ,marsupilami behind and now my brain is haunting me to go back hahaha .site note i love ori but the downsite with this game is you get stuck too easy too many times . i don t mind download copies less plastic, less cancerious stuff ... just my opinion .

I do cover this actually :D
I only buy digital for my Switch. No more physical games for me. It’s why I bought a PS5 Slim digital and an Xbox Series S.
Yeah! I recommend this too!

@@EeownaSorry must have missed that. I was playing a game while listening to your video. 😂😂

It’s also the Steam Spring sale! RIP Wallet
I don’t cover those as literally everything is on sale on steam 😂
Right? I picked up WildMender - which I am STRUGGLING with. I really like the art style, but I prefer a little more hand-holding. Must be my age.
I love figment, played it this year and beat it, getting figment 2 and yeah I’m not a great boss battle person so I got frustrated sometimes with the combat lol 😂

With the MH stories 1 coming out on Switch in June, I’m planning to get my hands on the bundle.
If anyone is debating the Life is Strange series - do it. Do it and weep with me.
I already have Life is Strange but never played it, but this made me more excited to pick it up! The way you described it reminded me a lot of Detroit Become Human, which I absolutely loved.
I’m waiting for them to reduce the price of the Disney Dreamlight Valley add on. No way I’m paying £24.99 for it!
they lowered the price on steam but only for deluxe (which comes with the add on) and base normal.
same
It’s $45 for me! I’d love for it to go on sale!!!
it's worth it in my opinion
I actually purchased Mario Party Superstars because of this sale and I had a blast playing it for three hours on Mario Day! I love this game as it was the first Mario Party game I've ever played! 🎉
Thanks for the vid honestly
I wouldn't know about half these sales if it were not for this.

Monster Hunter Rise was my first addictive game ❤

Should have added The Skywalker Saga. It's $17.99.
The life strange is so amazing done …. Take break in between from it some of the parts hit you hard

Life is strange I love so much I’ve played true colors more then once I really wish they would make another
Dredge - I don’t know if I should get it on Switch or PC. Anyone know if the controls are better/easier on PC?

interesting game but I'm really bad platformer. 😢
When did okami come out on the Nintendo switch? I've been looking out for it to release on switch for ages
Life is strange is currently free on Xbox store uk!🎉
