I really appreciate the efforts you put into this song. I know the Portuguese accent is a challenge for most foreigns but you did it brilliantly. Congratulations! As you mentioned this is a special song for the Portuguese people and also for myself. I lived in the same town than the Zeca Afonso, maybe at 500 m from his house so I was during my first years his neighbour. Unfortunately I was too young to have any clear memories of him and he also died well too young from a terrible disease... At his funeral there were thousands of people, some estimations mentioned around 20 000 people, it was literally a flood of people that loved him on that cemitery. People loved Zeca for his Art, his Bravery and also for the Feeling that he transmitted that you, regardless if you are rich or poor, educated or not, can achieve everything.
