I'm seeing comments that this doesn't work 100% of the time, so I'm going to just stick with what's working. Changing which character it is rapidly and randomly. That usually saves it where I want it(Before the rapid and random character swapping.)
Another way to save that worked for me for years is after you make a design, you go to the studio and then leave My gacha app has actually always have this problem, so I figured out how to save pretty early, to the point where it's practically muscle memory for me to go to the studio after I've made a design Hope this helps!
Oh my god once I forgot about the new update and I was halfway through a dancing video so the screenshots HADt to be perfect, and then it just got rid of my scar design 😭
I think it’s the small changes that saves- so you can’t make a character in one good perhaps, maybe change stuff one by one and keep going back to the title after you change a thing-?
My gacha club has always done this so you can also try leaving it open for a couple minutes after your done then return to title, open it again and if you waited long enough it saves. I've found that 2-5 minutes works for me
I use Gacha Club for PC (It sucks, I don't have some of the best accessories AND i don't even have access to battle and gacha) and I save characters just by exiting the program. Somehow it works, so yay ig.

you have to use the return to title button in gacha club and then you can exit the game, ITS SO CONFUSING 😭

Yes, it does save and the end. But the thing is, for now..the problem is when you put the character in save slot and comeback, it will be the same
another way: advertisement and close it up it saves
