Not sure why but this definitely sounds better than the other straight pipe 1.8's on youtube. I have a 1.8t I probably do a 3 inch downpipe

Why stage 1 and not 2 since you have the downpipe? Just need to add a 4bar FPR and flash to stage 2.
You don’t need a 4bar fpr for stage 2 lol
Stage 2 is front mount, down pipe and oversized intake in my opinion, I went with an upgraded diverter valve too, also depends on the health of the car

Why does a tsi turbo sound like a diesel when straight piped. I want to make a gti sound like that to
MaxDoesThings bc of the no cats and all downpipe, all you hear is the turbo spool. Sounds very great in person. I sold it 4 years ago and I regret it everyday.

David Hidalgo jettas aren’t very safe. Look at their crash tests. I want one but I looked at their crash tests they have a gap in the passenger area when the airbags deploy they have a gap from the dash area to the pillar by the top of the passenger door airbag and then the dummy slams his head on the dash because of the gap.

I own an 1998 golf mk4 i trendline trim but no AC i also have an sunroof and it is 1.9 SDI do you also have an problem sometimes with the hood open lever or however its called not working? If you have any idea how to fix this may you tell me?

I have no idea how to help out. You need to run a pressure test on your vehicle. As well as, contact local Euro mechanic
Damn, i regret selling that car....i was the original owner and had to sell it in 2011 to a cop up in Fontana....wonder what owner u were? Seeing its up to 5 or 6 now but hasnt been registered since 2020...ill buy that back right now if i can find it.

Yes it was a stock turbo, intercooler, 3 inch downpipe, Neuspeed exhaust, AEM cold air intake

In 2016, I traded my 240sx for this MK4 GTI that was owned by a kid in Azusa, CA.
I miss this car dearly, I only added the intercooler and tuned it.
Later sold it to some kid from Hawaii, I hope it is in good hands still

A thief stole the cat on my aunts 1999 Audi A3 1.8T (same engine as this) but shes not into cars so she just went straight to the car mechanic to get a cat installed, I was like Oh no you should have kept it like that.
She could’ve just tuned it right away! Lol

Suena a lata. Son buenos los motores de VW pero no son tan comprimidos como un corsa, el gol, palio. No suenan bien. Preferible dejarlo original pero si cambiarle la válvula de alivio

You do know that you actually lose HP by doing straight pipe, right?
Get an X-exhaust and gain 25-35HP. And that’s gonna stack with other mods you put on.
