I don't see why someone would want to pay that kind of money just for the real that's not the ride it's not the braids all that money just to go catch a damn fish I fish with Penn reels and rods and one setup don't cost that much that's ridiculous
@@johnbaker3817the same reason people pay $250-300 for a snap on or Milwaukee power drill, when they can buy a cheap ryobi drill for $50.They both do the same thing, one just going to last you longer and is better quality. The same reason people buy luxury cars instead of a reliable Honda Civic. They both get you from point A to point B,one’s just going to be a better ride than another.I would say it’s more for the serious angler that puts in there time fishing.I would include myself in that category and I’ve learned that over time it’s better to just spend more money on the best reel you can get for the given application. This is the best finesse reel money can buy hands down.Yea I’ll spend a grand now,but this reel will last you forever,my son will be able to use this reel when the time comes.I have a Stella SW and it’s the best money I ever spent hands down,no need for a Saragossa or vanvord, this one reel does it all.If your just a regular broke fisherman than that’s fine, but if you don’t ever want to worry about equipment failure,Stella’s are the few of choice.I see people sell there old penn Reels all the time, but how many times do you Stella’s in the market?Almost never, and the reason is because once you buy one you realize that you don’t ever have to buy another reel ever again.
I don’t like the design on the latest model, I like the look on 2013 Shimano Stella . I’ve got 1000pg , 3000xg , and 8000 HG . The new design doesn’t impress me and not the say anything bad or degrading the gears , it’s just I don’t like the look of the latest model because it’s look cheap .
Just ordered a 3000 from you guys today! Super excited! This is my first purchase from you guys, and I hope to make further purchases through J&H!

Love em, unfortunately they are always the first thing sold when times get tuff!
Very true.
Bought the FK 1000 about a month ago and I was totally sold, so now ended up ordering the FK 3000 also 😅
They have a fare bit of play in the handle just got one.
Worth every penny👊
Why do you think that though? I could name it hundred to maybe even 200 reels for half the price that would work just as good.
