@MEME BEAM my theory is that the burstchester is a body part of the character doing the taunt and so that means pyro is an alien 🤔

Why is pyro so wholesome? Besides from the fact that he’s a delusional psychopath.
Demo: I think he already is drunk. Considering he was playing with it..
Engineer: hes confused... Very... He doesnt know why or how it happened.
Heavy: he doesn't care. He just wants it either in or out.
Scout: hes scared and hates what he saw. Now he worries about if hes still gonna be alive.
Medic: he sees something weird. Hes gonna try and find out how it exists or what it is. And of course try to examine it.
Pyro: he doesnt know what the fuck is going on. He thinks its freindly because of the Pyrovision Goggles
Sniper: hes scared just like scout. Except hes more concerned about if he'll be able to get it out so he can live.
Soldier: he just wants it out. He has an IQ of about 1 so he's gonna think it's not too strange.
Spy: hes not concerned about his well being that much. He's more concerned about his profession.
Hes concerned for the suit
To pyro, instead of an alien popping through his chest, he sees a kitten pop out of his suit.

Heavy's and Medic's are my favorites: Heavy for how casual he is about a creature just bursting out of his chest, and Medic for how his curiosity seems to overcome his fear and pain. XD

Oh man, they are all so wonderfully in character. I can't decide which one is best, though I did love Soldier glancing behind himself in confusion. Sniper's little shudder at the end there was actually kind of cute.

+adam kendrick The mercenaries aren't trained, they al have their own reasons to be there, scout has no idea how else to make money, soldier thought it was still world war 2 until he finished his massacre of Poland and the administrator just said hey go kill these blokes, pyro...., demo cant find any other job, heavy is feeding his family, engie cant find a job that lets him build shit and shoot at the same time, medic just wants to run experiments, sniper and spy are assassins hired to do mercenary work, which is probably why they are rivals

Amazing work. I love the animation details of how the mercs react to it, very in-character. Hopefully Valve will add it with the Moonbase update, as a late Love & War tribute.
Given that the other monsterbread items in game aren't Halloween-restricted, I hope Valve won't insist on this taunt being Halloween-restricted either. After all Expiration Date is canon, and not set during Halloween.

I love Medic trying to examine it and immediately getting nibbled for his trouble.
The fact that pyro is the only one the burstchester likes being touched by makes the petting even cuter.

Tf2 made it first and it was a community taunt. Just because tf2 had it first does not mean that fortnite took it.
