Gorgeous stunning car! You specifically mentioned the power steering, power top, and power windows on the car, but was just curious... Did Cadillac have/offer power brakes as early as 1952? These heavy cars with drum brakes back in the day were woefully inadequate to stop. Couldn’t be done quickly... like trying to stop a fast-moving freight train!
You're right, the older cars did not always have power brakes when purchased new. But many people add them as a safety measure when restoring the vehicle because as you mention, they are tough to stop without them.
Ellingson Classic Cars Thanks... I imagine they did add them when later available. Is that to say then, that... ergo... this beautiful 1952 Cadillac Series 62 did not YET have power brakes offered from the factory? Are they NOW on the car, added in later years or when they were available as a retrofit?
